I would have prefered a completely international 3G chip (can be used anywhere in the world including USA) over the 4G one.
And I would go for 4gb ram if available.
It seems there a handful of us with those preferences. If 4GB doesn't happen, oh well. With preorders starting soon we should be able to find out relatively soon if 4G or 3G is happening. For me, 4G seems best atm, but since I can't be sure what will happen in, say, then next year, it may be that 3G is best if I end up bouncing around the world again. Either is better for me than wifi only.
My Pandora keyboard is just right

But seriously, when typing blind (entering passwords and so on) I often find myself not pressing keys hard enough on other membrane type keyboards, but that rarely happens on my GHz pandora. I sometimes am not sure if I've entered the password correctly due to key pressure, but on hitting enter I usually find that I have.
The only problems I have on my Pandora's keyboard have all been fixed on the Pyra - number keys in a daft place, and not enough symbol keys. Even if the keys are a little harder to press it's probably an improvement to me.
I think the Pyra keyboard layout is a huge improvement as well. Give me a few minutes while I try to figure out how to keep this keyboard discussion alive.
Although the keycaps are a practical and minor thing, I think they look pretty cool, and I love that they will protect the paint (I am typing this from a thumb keyboard missing paint on half the keys...).
Since the buttons now are part of the keymat, I'm curious as to if they will feel the same as the keyboard buttons. I'm hoping they feel more solid. I was able to use the Pandora's keys in games, but it didn't feel nearly as nice as using the actual abxy buttons. Can you comment on how the 6 game buttons feel in comparison to the keyboard keys, as well as in comparison to the abxy buttons and keyboard of the Pandora for reference?

Just know that if it feels too bad I already have some plans to fix it on mine. I have had some stupid ideas since early in the gaming button discussions, I just need to figure out what would work best, and how not to make it too much of a mess. My basic idea at present is to use GB* buttons (I already have parts to work with on hand), and hacked up silicone with the carbon pads if needed, to give it the correct feel and function. I know I will need to mess around with the case to get that to work, but I will need to see how much space I have to work with. I already anticipate cutting and epoxy, or something of the sort. I wouldn't mess with the 2 tiny buttons, and if I am lucky they won't get in the way.
Best case scenario is the keymat buttons will feel fine, so all of my thinking about this will have been a bit of a waste.
I remember ED mentioned
@Askarus was hitting the little buttons by accident, but that was an issue of clearance (and why he is getting the bigger buttons made a little taller). Since we all have different preferences I don't know that one person's opinion will tell us if they feel good enough for others/most.
@EvilDragon with the prototypes still being assembled, is it too late to tweak the height of the keys and gaming buttons if it turns out they still aren't optimal? I ask because you mentioned the three different materials that will be tested for feel. Wait, are these keycap materials or the silicone that you are trying out?
