Gamescom, sensor upgrade and other nice news

for all of us who frequent the boards, there's probably nothing really new to be learned from these interviews. (of course, this is me talking with only very minimal german comprehension.) so even if you don't know german, you probably know what ED's talking about.

the benefits of watching it, knowing german or not, is to listen to that calm, soothing evil dragon voice in its native tongue...

Some good news at the beginning of the post:
TILER is now working on one of the Pyra Prototypes.
It was quite a bit of work, but thanks to the IRC channel, we managed to get it running!

Thanks to everyone involved there.

Okay, now some pictures from the GamesCom, mainly the Retro-Area.
Sorry, no Pyra-pictures yet, will do more of them during the next days.
I was mainly concentrating on the other booths for now :)

Pretty cool sign. I really like that. Will we get a splash screen or something like that on the Pyra?

Not sure whose exhibition that is, but he had a WIZ, Caanoo and GP2X but no Pandora or GP32 in there :(

The Pandora is one thing, but how the heck is he missing a GP32? Incidentally, for me the only one I'm missing (if we don't count the various versions of the GP2X as separate) is the Wiz. Quite an expensive little bugger so I never got one. Well anyway, now that I have a Pandora I have very little use (and little room) for the GP/GPH handhelds I do own. Off to the trading section I go, I guess.

Aaaah perfect screen size! :D Is that screen custom made or stock?
