This is a problem with proposal 2, but not really with the other proposals. If it asks for button B you'll know it's an old Pandora game and that button is called Ω now.I'm not sure that's a fair comparison. People expect emulation to be different, and for the most part the labels are entirely irrelevant as you just map the emulated buttons to their expected positions. Old games and applications wouldn't be emulated, they would (hopefully, in theory) just run. How do you tell the difference between one game asking for Button X (pg-up) and another game asking for Button X (pg-dn)?As we know, people play emulators all the time. They can live with button labels that don't match.
Many Pandora devs are still alive. They will probably want to update their games and applications anyway to take advantage of things like increased resolution and multi-threading. Changing a help screen or two is not a big deal.
