Some personal stuff - and prototypes building!

When Pyra enters mass production how many built per week i know the days of when Craig was around they were banging out around 250 units pw then that went up.

They're supposed to be slightly easier to assemble, with no light pipes to worry about, which should speed things up. But at the end of the day, it depends on the number of people assembling units, and their experience in doing it. 50 units a day sounds achievable after a little practice to me, but I don't really know.

Oh man... there I am out with the flu for 3 weeks, and all the stuff is happening! o_O

So to start off: my condolences for your loss.
Second: very nice news so far and a cool video of the first parts

Keep up and go to sleep from time to time :D|-)

The glue is dry, when I say... no wait... It is done when its... dry... glue...done...

Stop confusing me

The glue did dry and I even continued to assemble prototypes and make pictures (the full lid is assembled), but I still seem to need a bit more sleep than usual, so I didn't post anything here yet.
The fact that our hockey team has reached the semi-finals right now doesn't help (as it means I need to do a lot of video stuff as well right now), but I'm still moving along :)

Meanwhile, here is another video from the testrun at the new company:

A few more parts have been produced. I should receive a black set soon :)

Did anyone ever make a render of what a Pyra would look like if every individual plastic piece were a different color? Not that I really want one built that way, but it would be a good tool to show what the parts assembly looks like.

Nice to see this company is showing bits of the proces :)

This one on the left...

Can anyone else visualize that as a fire breathing dragon with a long tail sitting up on his haunches facing left...?
Should've used this as the official Pyra logo...
