Pyra Fanart

The P-1000 model is becoming famous
Hordes of fans, exposure in magazines. Even devoted fans painting him on walls...
So far only one comment: "Hasta la Pyra, baby". We are still unsure what this really means.
What IS a Pyra? We do not know, but we are finding out! We will keep you posted.

EDIT
We now know how the P-1000 model is financing it's conquest: It is printing it's own money.
We got a comment: "This is not an illegal instruction"

This just in: P-1000 changes hair color to deep-purple.
*sigh* So few natural robots around anymore.
That's such a condescending statement! Unless you've a unique concept of "natural" is, the P-1000 model is a cybernetic organism, even "natural" hair is cybernetic.

I've designed two ads with the same template but different names, basic white background etc (ED, it'd be nice if the pictures you provided with the media pack had a white background :p)

Seriously? Only veterans of the Pandora scene would get the 2 months™ reference. It's more likely to give the wrong impression to an outsider, especially since the release date has not been finalised yet. As for the other one, well... Let me put it this way. If I wasn't already wanting one, the phrase "got pyra?" would actually be enough to make me decide to steer clear of it. ;)

The two months one could work if the sliding value of two months is described in a convoluted and nerdy way lower on the pic/poster.

"Got *?" was tired and boring back when it was used with "Got milk?". Perhaps something similar but not so over done, like "Includes *." or something.

Includes nubs.

or maybe

Nubs included.

Battery included.

Wonky chip included.

Whatever, I know my ideas are dumb, but maybe they will inspire someone.

uuuh, sorry for posting into this old thread, but i'm not sure where else to throw this one in :D
got bored and built a pyra in inkscape. it's not an hundred percent accurate, but i think it's recognizable enough :3

@rygD it's not that accurate though :/ i don't know how to handle blender, else i'd try to put an outline shader on the 3D model and vectorize the render :) that way, we could get some nice shots of the front, the back and the lid, too (for the manual and whatnot) :D

It is far more accurate than what I could make. Regardless, I think that, or something like it, would look cool on the box. It was that style which I had in mind when I was talking about the picture for the box in the other thread. Throw the name and "Made in Germany" on there and it's good to go.

If you keep at it and get all those vectorized pics I would love to see them. Maybe we can convince ED to use them for the box and manual.

that'd be cool, yeah :) i'll try to find someone who knows how to get renders like that :D

Maybe more like a manual cover to me. I think the box art might look a bit too simple without something like an isometric view of an opened Pyra, in all its 90s glory. Would better fit a product with retro emulation in mind.

i love that picture, except for the salmon-colored pyra logo thingy, it kinda stands out instead of blending into things. not sure what color would be better..., maybe just translucent white?
