Unfortunately it's 0×0 resolution. It's great for people who love solid black. What are the camera specs ? Did Davenshah work on program to make camera take a 10 sec to 20 sec clip Video with the press of a button For posting on various sites ?
No, supposedly only 22 people ordered that. They get the 4GB Pyra for the price of the 2GB Pyra.On the DragonBox Shop site, there is no more version Pyra Standard Edition, 2GB RAM: 500 EUR without VAT (=595 EUR incl. VAT) !!!
Is this the most requested version ???
No, ED said he's probably going to give the 2GB pre-orders a free upgrade to 4GB. Supposedly there were only 22 pre-orders for a 2GB version and apparently that's not enough for ED to be willing to produce them. So it looks like no one will get the 2GB version and 22 people will have the 4GB version offered to them for the 2GB version price. No, you deposit the same amount of money, but the final amount payable for 4GB was always slightly more than that for 2GB.
It's probably less problematic to give the 2gb buyers a free upgrade than asking them for more money. I can see how it's unfair but it seems like the better move.Well that remains to be clarified, and what I said wasn't strictly wrong. If you selected a 4GB unit you were always due to pay slightly more than if you'd selected a 2GB unit. And it would seem slightly unfair to him if you selected a 2GB unit now that he's said he's not going to offer them.
I just tried and was unable to get the shop to give my the pyra pages. I hope that will be easier to navigate to once they become actually saleable, but at the moment I'm not sure what ED is actually offering.
How is it unfair? Do you really think that those 2GB buyers mind getting a 4GB instead? They'd probably only ordered the 2GB version because it's cheaper and the price stays the same. The only advantage that the 2GB verison would probably have is using slightly less power. It's probably less problematic to give the 2gb buyers a free upgrade than asking them for more money. They're not modest, they're stingy with their money. Like 22 Scrouge McDucks. (JK)Modesty rewarded by circumstance of its rarity. I can get behind that. (And no, I did not order a 2GB version.)
What interpretation a person prefers, says more about the interpreter than the interpretee. ;pThey're not modest, they're stingy with their money. Like 22 Scrouge McDucks. (JK)
You mean, when the 4GB prototypes made recognizable suboptimal design parameters, that remained hidden before?(and there were times, when it looked indeed, that this version might not work out)
Yup, only a true Scrooge McDuck would call stinginess "modesty".What interpretation a person prefers, says more about the interpreter than the interpretee. ;p

I should have specified, it could appear to be unfair towards people that paid full price for a 4gb model. I honestly have no issue with 2gb buyers getting a free upgrade while we pay more for the same device. More happy Pyra users! How is it unfair? And it's definitely not unfair to the 4GB buyers. The 4GB buyers get what they ordered, they're not getting shafted as far as the free upgrades are concerned. If ED wants to give out free upgrades to people for whatever reason then that's his right. He could go out on street and give 28 Pyras for free to a random stranger and it would not be unfair. I think it's good to know that he's solving this issue in the nicest way possible. 22 people get extra happy and no one is being shafted.
