Release 3.2 kernel issue tracking thread

Am I the only one who has problems with right SD slot (not working) when running any OS from SD card? This happened after I flashed SuperZaxxon beta 1.1 on my nand. When I boot from nand both slots are working fine.

I had this same problem, but after I re-flashed, everthing is fine.

Bascially things are fine with me with this new kernel. The AE1000 does not seem to anythinganymore, but te NetGear 150 dongal works great. The internal wifi works fine also. I have noticed that when I have my wireless USB mouse plugged in, certain things will not function until I unplugg it (Netgear 150 dongal, codex pnd and others, booting up and shutting down the Pandora). Still, I can live with it. I know there are quirks that have to be worked out.

odd "bug" here

i use sd adapter to microsd cards and they always go to lock mode after inserting. 2.6.27 kernel doesn't seem to have write-protection feature, like 3.2 does, so my cards are being mounted read only. I can't open a single PND, says it cant be mounted, (because it's not rw, i suppose). Any easy fix?
Write protect was never tested on CC boards so I guess it's broken on yours, like on many others. I guess I'll have to disable it on pre-German pandoras on 3.2 too..

Just wondering if you found a fix for this, using 64GB SDXC cards:

Just wondering if you found a fix for this, using 64GB SDXC cards:

Code:
O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 8216

...

[ 30.522674] mmcblk1: r/w command failed, status = 0x80000900
0x80000900 means "out of range", but it's unclear of what command respose this is. I guess I'll have to get one of those cards to be able to do anything about this.

I'm staying with EvilDragon until Wednesday, so if there is anything you need while I'm here, let me and/or him know. Unless you want to shell out some loot for a 64GB Pretec found here:

Select the SDXC, it's $74.99 but not sure where to find them in the EU

I was planning on stocking these in my shop soon, but I'll hold off until we know more.

Never had an issue with old kernel.

Thank you for the reply and all the effort you put into the Pandora!

Is it just me or is middle click support on the right nub missing? Usually when pushing down on the right nub with the old kernel in SuperZaxxon, a middleclick is executed. This seems to no longer work with the experimental kernel.

Also doesn't work on Slack.

Any news about the Overclock or the slow SD fixup ?

I'm just sitting on the floor outside my room with my Pandora so please excuse if I haven't read through the whole topic. (Inside my room is no internet)

1: I'm using a 64 GB Sd-Card and it works perfectly. I'm running Firefox out of it right now, played some N64 and listened to music. Writing on it is also no problem.

2: TV-Out; PAL; Composite: It's black and white-No colours while in XFCE or playing N64. The Cable is good, I've tested a second one. When using the non experimental Kernel everything's allright. (Super Mario 64 looks nice in black and white but finding the 8 red choins might be a problem ;) .)

3: Charging light is strange: Yesterday in the evening it doesn't light. (Pandora charged, I'm sure about this. I've checked the battery after some time). Today in the morning the charging light was shining. (Battery was 45-55% as I checked yesterday)

4: When closing the lid while running a PND (sorry, I've only tested N64) he screen will stay black after opening the lid.

5: Backgroung light is also strange. It sometimes gets lighter but the brightness regulator is still as low as I adjusted it. When pressing CTRL+u the screen gets black. When pressing CTRL + i after that the screen is as dark as I've adjusted it.

That's all I've found out so far. I hope it helps.

I admit it's not much of a solution, but for slow SD speeds wouldn't converting to EXT4 help?

Trying to set the time from the settings menu I get a black screen when confirming the dialogue. Hitting some key then brings the screen on again o_O

Is the slow SD bug also affecting SD in card readers connected to USB host ?

Any news about the Overclock or the slow SD fixup ?
No progress on overclock, working on other things.

I don't know what to do with SD, the slowness comes from erratum workaround (fixes data corruption when copying between cards).

just a quick question from someone with no idea on what's going on...

since the erratum affect only the transfer between the two SD card slot, is it not possible to use the workaround only in that case?

Well, I'd rather not transfer data between sd-cards, which most people hardly do anyway, then having a break turned on all the time.

Not working:

1: My Ethernet to USB device

2: "Kill everything that moves (KETM) - Game

3: "Garden of coloured Lights" - Game

That's all I've found out for now.

You have to load usb modules :

Code:
sudo modprobe ehci-hcd

Do someone have a fix for the middle click ? I tried tweaking xorg.conf without success.
