We might want to TM 500 a week also, it might be useful in the future... So yes, 500 a week.In all seriousness, IIRC it was 500 a week? So yes. Two MonthsTM

Yes... but what scares me is that that's an estimation from the company itself... :/
They have already produced a 1000 units last summer. Don't you have any realistic time estimate from back then?Yes... but what scares me is that that's an estimation from the company itself... :/
As has been said many times over, no one is arguing that they made a poor business decision in waiting. Pretty much everyone shares your opinion: waiting for nubs definitely makes the most sense. The complaint is always that they lied about it. Now that they've shown that they'll lie to keep business, how can ED and the rest trust that "500 per week" isn't yet another lie just to keep them from seeking alternatives? Maybe they promise 500 per week, but only get 200, and start with excuses as to why they aren't producing the 500, and ED will roll over and accept their lies and promises that, next week, they'll have more jigs that'll definitely get it up to 500...Personally, I think they made the perfectly logical business decision of not producing boards until they had nubs (Although they didn't have to lie). Now that we have Trey visiting them and all the nubs on the way, they should start producing properly. I would've been fine with them telling us that they won't make boards until they have nubs.
If they make 200 per week, that means it is going to take them almost 20 weeks (way more than Two Months™) to finish 4000 boards, tying up their equipment. Let's see how long it takes them to say we have 500 ready to roll. The fact they get paid when Batch 1 is done will keep them working. As has been said many times over, no one is arguing that they made a poor business decision in waiting.
