Finally found the pots I have been trying to find for a month our two (they were accidentally hidden by a family member). I can repot my trees and vegetables now. I was trying to put the veggies in the ground, but the area I had picked out is extremely sandy, and their are baby pine trees growing there. I may have accidentally killed one when trying to relocate it (I will check the woods whenever I am messing with the other plants). I decided to stick with pots until the trees are a bit older.

Monday I saw a murder (of crows). I didn't have time to attempt to befriend them, and it is an area I will only rarely visit that will not be so abandoned in a couple weeks. I will need to find crows more local to me if I want them to live at my house and attack the humans that throw trash on my grass. I also saw a could dead raccoons in the middle of the road.

There has been at least one white fluffy cat living near my house. I still only see one, but I am not sure it is the same one since it seems smaller, and I have been told there are two white ones. (Fun fact: One of the white cats ran up a tree in front of a nearby house recently. Not sure if it was to avoid being seen by the occupants of a car driving by, or to get a meal.) While walking a dog behind my house the other day I saw a dark spot move in an area where there was no grass. I stopped to look (the dog didn't notice anything), and it was a smallish fluffy black cat looking at us preparing to run, so we left.

Yesterday I was discussing with my family the lack of rabbits in recent years. Less than an hour later when we left the house I saw a blur go around the house, and someone went to see what it was. We have a new rabbit living outside. When we arrived back last night we saw it, or another rabbit, on the other side of the house. I haven't seen frogs this year, but I hear them somewhere nearby.

I've planted some and am running out of pots. Hadn't expected all seeds to sprout. Now there's too many brussel sprouts, parsnip and radish seedlings. A garden with a small greenhouse would be great *dream*

Also, I fail at anger management.

I still have my Hotmail address, though that is only due to a long standing grudge with the guy who had the .co.uk version...

If I ever get around to building a house I plan to include a large sunroom to use as a greenhouse. I prefer to plant in the ground, there just isn't as much room for that here as I have had at other places I have lived (one place had about a quarter acre for the veggies, plus a variety of fruit trees and some nut bearing trees, and at another I took care of a goat and some chickens). I avoid displacing natural species here since they already struggle in this area against kudzu.

My anger was an intentional choice, but I have let it become overpowering, so that is something I am working on. While I do deal with that directly, another difficult part of it for me is dealing with the underlying issues that I ignored and neglected. The worst part is that those I care about the most are the ones that have to deal with this mess.

This is why I am afraid for my fiancée. She took up a part time job when I was unemployed to help make sure we'd have money.

She's working forty hour weeks on a part time job. Five days at a time with one day in between these alternating shifts.

She can't get anything done, she's losing her passions and ambitions. She tells them she can't work these absurd hours, especially after her floating rib incident which still has her not feeling 100%.

I see how she's being used and if she has a day off 98% of the time it's on a day I'm working.

It is painful seeing her put herself through this.

"I need the money it's nice having the money," she constantly mutters before remarking about being in pain or sore. About how she can not get things done around the house. How the hours they have her scedhuled don't even give her time to wash her &@$"in' uniform!

She says she might throw in her two week notice. I hope to the gods above she does because she's miserable. She's just killing herself, for a few bucks.

Selling her soul for a few dollars at a dead end job. I know it's dead end because the other employees are dead end. They won't help each other, nobody seems to care.

It pains me seeing her in such a state of misery. How she's losing her spark. I'd rather see her be unemployed and happy focusing on her artwork or making parts of suits. Instead of me picking her up after my twelve hour shifts, while she's trying to stand straight. Her eyes dark and her words soft as she prepares herself mentally for the next day.

How she is prepared to experience more pain. She's selling her soul for pennies on the dollar. I truly think my she worth more than her wage.

Sorry that post brought this up in my mind.

My fiancée called me to pick her up. Nearly stalled the bug as she's sobbing. My fiancée got thrown under a train by another co-worker.

He claims my fiancée didn't pull her weight closing last night and left early.

My fiancée closes nearly every sodding day. 2-10pm. For the last past few months without issue.

But yesterday a individual who is known to be a piece of crap. Informed a manager that she didn't pull her weight. ( she closed everything in front while lughead just texted in the back only doing dishes.)

My fiancée is breaking down. At first I thought she walked out, but alas no such luck. But shes so close to doing so.

I hate this.

She quit later that night. She's so much happier now.

The colour returned to her face and as she said it felt like an anvil was lifted off of her back. She was stressed out to the max.

I've picked up some sort of cold/flu bug. Not to worry though Lady M is looking after me with her usual level of skill, she's been reminding me to take medicine, eat, even though things taste mostly of nothing and for which I am truly grateful to her, stopped me from falling asleep on the toilet last night. :)

Took the vw bug on a road trip. We visited my fiancée's father in Alma. They were having an event at the museum there. Fire in the shire it's called. Historical things abou medieval weapons and etc. they have an impressive collection of arms in that museum.

Impressive seeing wheel locks, and other such forms of antique..( to some in this head modern) firearms. They had an anthenic replica forge set up which we could just smell and hear it..

It was quite interesting. They had a few people outside doing things. A coin maker, a bow maker, a few people fighting with polearms and such, and a group showing Kendo.

Drove the bug through a storm on the way back. It did the trip amazingly well and only cost me 30 dollars in gasoline (trying different fuel grades) for the entire trip which one way is around 186 miles. So I think I used a total of thirteen gallons of gasoline. It was absurdly cheap.

Quite enjoying how simple the car is. Fuel economy tanked during the massive storm due to me driving a bit slower and having to down shift frequently.

This was a very nice week end. Oh yes we also had two new alter pairs appear. Which is great... one of them is very reclusive and shut in and the other is tricky to find in here.

Had a job interview for a newly created IT/marketing post. Afterwards the HR lady told me she had a very good feeling this would work out for me. It's a long daily drive but I'd be so happy about a stable employment, finally not one of those damn leeching temp agencies!

Later tonight I get to plant all my radish, brussel sprout and parsnip seedlings in a new bed at my parents' place. Then I can use the little room I have for herbs.

Feeling good today.

Good to hear!

Late last night I finally made peace with something that's been disturbing me since early childhood...

... Mosquitoes...

I now can see and understand their place / purpose in the infinite kaleidoscope of being that is life / the living creation.

I can now regard them with love and acceptance - which amazingly makes the experience of them less bugging, even when they are buzzing within my space.

However, there are still 2 extremely disturbing things from my childhood I am not sure I am enlightened enough to welcome into my heart...

Parsnips...
...and Brussel Sprouts...
