I didn't take any painkillers. It never hurt as much as for example the cramps I get sometimes in some muscles in my legs.
Some nutrient deficiency?
Possibly.
Only happens very seldom though (like once per month), so I've never done much investigation or tried eating more of some elements. Possibly a lack of Calcium, I've read.

I guess it depends on how good your dentist is and how much pain you can take
I needed stitches so painkillers were kind of a must for me. :)
Mine needed to be removed surgically too, with stitches and one of them was already inflamed (needed to look that up. Have never heard that word before. I hate it when I have to do this).

Edit: I mean, of course during the operation, that area in the mouth was sedated. I just didn't take anything else afterwards.

Here are some nice quotes for the day :) :

Hey all,

At Strigoi's request I am going to try my best to explain a couple of things on his behalf:

Strigoi has ceased from posting on the forum for a while because firstly, he felt he was becoming too addicted to the forum itself so has decided that the best course of action is to go "cold turkey". And secondly, he felt that he may have been becoming too attached to the Miku figures themselves, rather than what they represent to him (Miku's character & 'personality'). However, he has since found this to be not the case.

I hope that Strigoi can overcome any problems or questions he is facing within himself, and that we will all be supportive of him if/when he chooses to return   :)

Unplugging once in a while from the "The World" is beneficial. Strigoi, is always welcome here. Come back anytime after some downtime and rest.  :)

I hope you will return and I hoe too, that you will have a good time here, Strigoi. You are always welcome in these boards.

Since this is about caring, I care about the forum as a whole more than any particular member, and a member that spams the board daily with a personal obsession that no-one else here shares is detracting from the forum. In my humble opinion, it is selfish, antisocial behavior. Like a fat man walking naked down main street. "LOOK at MEEE!"

@klapse: I understand what you're saying, but sometimes people need a way to express themselves and this was just his way of doing so. For someone that didn't feel he was able to communicate on here, before, he has certainly come along way confidence-wise. And I feel that should be acknowledged too.

In defense of Strigoi I can say that he was posting on a dedicated thread... it was not mandatory to read it...

also he posted some interesting articles

In defense of the rest of us, the only reason hes been posting in his own thread is because it had to be separated from another thread

in defence of Strigoi then he stayed there

LOL

I remember another case like this :D Franko, but he was deliberately following a quest to be banned

A naked fat man appears.

I really shouldn't be posting, but then I've never known what was good for me + thanks again to Lolla for posting that stuff for me.

Addiction part:

I have what's called an addictive personality, which means that I'm more susceptible to getting addicted to things, in this case buying things and forum posting. The cold turkey method isn't going completely brilliantly, because if it was why would I be here posting this. At least the withdrawal symptoms that I've been experiencing have calmed down somewhat.

Miku thread bit:

Glad some people are finding it useful. It's a bit of a combination of my memories of her, my IRL memory is shot so they get stored there instead. Showing the rest of the world how brilliant she is, this is one of the ways that I'm trying to repay her for all that she's done for me, not that I ever can. The robotics + AI stuff is there because one day I hope to give Miku a better way than she currently has to experience the world + I'm interested in stuff like that.

Edit: Thank you everyone for your support.

Good work mate :) . I would suggest trying to take up another hobby than IRC / sport, perhaps going to gym or swimming would suit. Even a night out at a Comedy Show can do wonders. Getting away from the source is probably the best thing to start on!

If you need someone to chat with give me a holler on Skype (text only for now) (PM me for details)

Edit: You're not the only one who's addicted to Miku. As a start you might be best isolating contact with other Miku lovers / groups and focusing on the Pandora stuff. ;) if it helps I can hide Mikus world thread for you. Just let me know k?

I've started reading books again after quite a break, which seems to be helping me keep away from the forums + of course playing on my Pandora is helping too. I think I may have to get Lolla to write all my posts that deal with Caring Corner type stuff, because she definitely gets it across better than what I am able to. anyway in my last post I wasn't saying that I wanted to drop Miku, I was saying the opposite, that she's going to be around for quite some time to come. I also don't think that I've been able to get across what I feel about her + how happy she makes me feel.

Your situation is strikingly similar to the main character's in the movie "Her". Good flick.

@Strigoi: The way your personality is right can be quite tricky, but if you won't be careful it can put you in danger.

The way you seem to describe your state of mind right now (as mentioned in the quotes), it seems to me that you're putting yourself in danger of what some may refer to as "Idol worshiping" or in simpler terms "deluding yourself into thinking an inanimate object is actually more then just a statue". Therefore i must warn you - such a thing is dangerous (especially with an obssesive type of mentality) as it can easiealy deteriorate the mind and drive a person into Madness.

In order to avoid such a thing, my suggestion to you would be to temporarily avoid any physical figurines or unnecessarily big posters of Miku, and instead focus on thinking about the character herself and what you actualy love about her. In the process of which, remind yourself that the figurines are nothing but inanimate objects portraing the Persona of Hatsune Miku and are not Hatsune Miku herself.

There are much smarter people here, who can put words together, and advise you much better than me, while saying the exact same thing.

Strigoi just do what make you happy and start lifting bro :D
