The new kernel is in /lib/boot/ you should point (auto)boot.txt to it. Latest SD installer is supposed to use later kernel now, but I haven't verified that.

Done. Just added /lib/boot/ in front of uImage in autoboot.txt and now the new kernel boot. Great, thanks.
Btw, is there any chance that the SD installer could use the fullflash image for installation?
(For thousands of pandoras out there that could be a significant server load reduction)

on the SD in /boot correct? Because obviously the uimage on the root of the SD card (fat partition is the 3.2 kernel).
[EDIT] I was wrong, there is no /boot on the SD card ext partition. So where do I look for the 2.6 kernel?

The fat partition will be mounted into /boot on the starting system. The place where uImage is is the right place for another kernel.
The SD installer labels the partition PANDORABOOT.

Now i read all pages of the beta thread. And after two months days playing with my rebirth SuperZaxxon Beta 3 Pandora i'm on Beta 4 now.
The download trouble still exist. First try with Fx 8.x and "save as..." on the link failed with an incomplete download of 948kb. Second try with direct click on the link worked fine then.
I had wifi/network trouble. With Beta 3 my USB network dongle was detected, Beta 4 not. I tried to find the module mcs* successfully, but with this:

		Code:

77:~$ sudo find / -iname mcs*
/lib/modules/3.2.16-00257-g22711aa/kernel/drivers/net/usb/mcs7830.ko
/lib/modules/2.6.27.57-omap1/kernel/drivers/net/usb/mcs7830.ko
/usr/share/vim/vim72/compiler/mcs.vim

My wifi problem was a security one first, somehow the settings of my router set to 802.x auth, wtf?? Now wifi connects, dhclient got the correct settings, default route and localnet route is ok according to "route". I can ping -c 1 heise.de and others. But PNDstore and PNDmanager failed to update, pndstore shows the list of installed apps only, pndmanager tried to sync with rotating arrow for 30minutes until i killed it. Same for link, the webbrowser. No url is found or loaded.
Meanwhile i managed to boot B4 from SD. Strange. While B4 from NAND didn't work with wifi the B4 from SD does? I installed codecpack manually after i found that pndstore is working now. Link found URLs now. Maybe there was another different config thing i didn't noticed.
Ups. Added 100 workspaces by mistake. I can see 24 in the bottom bar, but now everything is very slow and the number is changing slowly between 34-48. After 15minutes it didn't stop, i couldn't open the menu anymore, it closes immediately, i did a hard reset. The menu was accessable after and it was possible to reset to 2 workplaces.
If it's possible to restrict the max number of workplaces i recommend to set them to 20 or 30.
The USB dongle isn't detected if connected after system start up. lsusb shows no results, empty list. In lsmod i don't recognize any usb modules.
I will go to Zaxxon on the NAND and continue to play with SuperZaxxon Betas from SD.
Any cautions for reverting to an older Firmware?
