Slackware inside Pandora.

Cool, but how do I turn off port 6000? on my debian machine, I just enter: startx --nolisten tcp

Would that work on Slack?

Yup, log out from Xfce and test, if it works, edit your .bash_profile in your home folder.

How is handled the screen saver under Zaxxon ?

I looked around, bun found no clue.

I've resumed the work on -current, as the changes are significant enough to spend time on it.

So it works very well minus the omapfb X driver which doesn't compile (for now).

The touchscreen bug is gone and it's a very good thing.

I'll produce an image in a few days.

Compiled omapfb after having manually applied the Gentoo patch:

http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/x11-drivers/xf86-video-omapfb/files/xf86-video-omapfb-0.1.1-closescreen.patch?view=markup

Unfortunately, X segfaults:

Hi sorry for the Doublepost but i tried the Current and have a Error,

GKSU is not working for me with following Error:

Failed to comunicate with the gksu-run-helper
when i start gksu in Terminal have i

locale not supported by the C Library
using the 'C' locale
Had you that error too?

Some news from the -current front. I build a test version from time to time.

Omapfb X driver now works thanks to the patch i found on Cloudef's repo.

I use again 32bit color, as i've noticed no problem with any pnd, and overall colors are better, especially Qt stuff.

I may consider Konqueror as the default file manager. The first run is a bit long, but after that, it's ok.

I'll have to test it on a CC unit to see if the memory usage doesn't hurt too much.

There's indeed a problem with gksu, i'm on it.

I rewrote this and that in my build scripts to make life easier.

For now, -current is great, and i'll probably upload a new version soon.

Oh cool i will try it this Evening.
Have you GLX now working?
I ask this because the Dreamcast Emulator Lxdream found on last tries none :)
Had readed anywhere that you fixed much with Gles,GLX and and and.

:)

Fixed nothing GL-related ^^.

It's the proper X driver which is back to normal now.

I tried this with KDESU but it dont worked here.
When i am at home this Evening very late, will i Post the Messages why it did not work.
Must i Compile KDESU?
Or have you a precompiled binary? ;)

BTW: Have you tried to install the newer Kernel from actual Zaxxon?
Because Notaz have patched Wlan and that is much faster now ;)
Or the newer GL Drivers from Notaz Driver PND in Slackware?

Kdesu is part of KDE.

I produced a new release with the new kernel, but didn't upload it to the server. I will soon.

No new GL for now. Where are they ?
