Pyra News: Springs are brilliant!

Well we've seen a lot of "shut up and take my money" meme's that would indicate not only impulse buys but actually intended missing of bits of information... hence the shut up part.

Most people have has time to cool down and reflect on that by now, surely?

Although I do agree with @WizardStan that people rarely read, well anything.

The Pandora GIT repository is updated on a ~daily basis, I guess OP uboot isn't.

slightly off topic - but there is something I am unclear on re the Pyra. I get that the mobile edition has features that the non-mobile edition doesn't e.g. compass, GPS etc. Now none of those extras are of interest to me but what about haptics/rumble? (Important when emulating PlayStation, N64, DreamCast) Can anybody confirm if all versions of the Pyra will have this or is will that be limited to the mobile version?

I know in the past we as a collective voiced the need to have the haptic motor on the non-mobile versions just for this reason. Hopefully that can still happen.

Thanks I check the kernel mailing list every day, but I have the feeling a lot of developping is happening elsewhere (and mostly outside of the kernel) Will check tha git repository and I know about the IRC do come there once in a while.

I really like following these type of things, sometimes I even pick up trains of thought I can use in my work.

As has already been stated, we still get rumble on all editions. The omitted modem chip on the standard non-cellular units gives the 4G users cellular connections and GPS/GLONASS. I had thought there was something else omitted on those non-cellular units, but everything else from barometer, compass, gyro/accelerometers come from different chips, so I can only assume that everyone gets those.

Thanks levi. Mind pointing me to where this was already stated?

...so I can only assume that everyone gets those.
You mean it hasn't been confirmed?

Yep, there are extra Bosch chips that are responsible for the sensor function and an extra "rumble motor".
And all Pyra editions get these chips?

So the new Switch dosnt rumble but the Pyra dos?? and the new Switch dosnt connect to a TV but the Pyra dos ??
I got me the Preeorder for the Mobile Edition 4 GB, because this, but even if the Normal Pyras also Rumble, i will take this Pyra because this Time i want the "All Include Spezial Edition" unlike my CC Pandora which..

I thought only the mobile editions got the sensors, but it was a long time ago i checked

I tried to get more information on this list but clicking on the appropriate link, I get:

Code:
pyra-handheld.com:1717 uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for rhea.dragonbox.de
Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

@EvilDragon is currently upgrading his servers.

ALL versions have the same technical specs like CPU, LCD, storage, WLAN, etc. You can check those specs below.
The Mobile Edition adds mobile internet (3G/4G), GPS as well as additional sensors (Altometer, Hygrometer, Barometer, Compass).
There are two versions of the Pyra Mobile Edition, one supporting the US-Frequencies and one supporting the EU (and mostly worldwide) frequencies.

GPS, Altometer, Hygrometer, Barometer and Compass are only available in the mobile edition.
