Unless he's ordered, he can wait in line - even though I doubt he'd have anything negative to say.
Or unless he can rapidly contribute some useful dev work!Unless he's ordered, he can wait in line - even though I doubt he'd have anything negative to say.
He comes across to me as a pure user, not a low level dev
I do not remember writing up a date for the shipment to a reviewer, but for the sake of completion:Im against that whe send units at this state for Review, as its too early
They suspekt the Pyra to be that allready finished as other products from big companys which isnt posibel
So maybe when the massproduction runs stable and everything works , then its maybe the time for some PR, everything else could be bad pr if the wrong rewier puts its hands on a Pyra ..
what appears to be a USB network attachment to bridge
At least with the uEVM, this is already the default behaviour when connecting the OTG port to a computer. Although it is designed for the other way round, accessing the computer's Internet connection on the OMAP, it would possible to set up routes so that the Pyra's 4G can be shared.
Unfortunately they sent me microUSB 2.0 harddisk cable, returning now.I found one in amazon india too!
The Pandora at least opened up a hell of a lot of open source games that are fun to play that I simply had no idea existed on my previous computers. Just having a team of devlopers finding these games and making them supremely easy to find and to use was all it took. On this computer, to play oolite I have to clone a git repo and then build it, whereas on the Pandora I just downloaded the pnd when it came out, and used the pnd manager to keep it updated.I kind of look at the Pyra as a, "Swiss Army Knife of Computers". Yes, there are bigger tools/computers that do any one of the tasks it can do, "better". But, I cannot think of anything else that can do an okay job of as many tasks and still fit in a (albeit fat) pocket.
Now hurry up and get yours so you can get 3D plus tiler sorted out so I can play Supertux 2 and all the player contributed levels for the next six months?

I guess he is busy with day job stuff
I wouldn't worry about that too much. In all likelihood he had several other orders that needed to be dispatched at the same time. That being the case, specifically de-prioritising your order would probably have actually meant extra work for him to do.Sorry, that could be my fault I ordered a Pyra mug and key fob as well as making a small donation. In the comment for the order I requested him to prioritise sending out Pyras first, but he clearly prioritises actual orders and already dispatched it.
