It looks nice. Very nice even but if all it does is what the GP32 can do but a little better then it will ultimately not live up to the potential it could have had.

I personally feel for any new GP to do really well it needs to be able to do all the GP32 can do and more. Not just the same but better.

For example will it be able to manage N64 and PSP emulation. If the answer is yes then it will be a major hit if the answer is no then even though most of us will probably get one it will still ultimately have failed to be what it could have been by being able to emulate the next generation of consoles up from the Genesis and SNES.

PSP emulation? You are joking right???

LOL I meant PSX

could be good for emulation, one cpu emulates main cpu, the other one Graphics and sound. would that be faster?

"and is it safe to assume that battery life will be only about 2-3 hours since 166mhz GP32 gets like 4-6 at 166mhz?"

No. Newer tech tends to be more conservative towards power.

Not according to the site. That would probably be very unlikely.

I'm not suggesting that this will happen, but my 8 year old PC runs Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 at full speed with sound in Corn with no frameskip. Only at the lowest scree size though.

Corn is quite possibly the most amazing thing I've seen run on that PC. I think it's only 300mhz, and a Celeron2 or something? I'm not sure, but it can't do much at all. VisualBoy Advance requires frameskip 8 in most games to be even slightly quick. No kidding.

It (PS) was called PSX in its prototype stage. Sony calls Playstation PSOne nowadays, but they are bloody fools.

Please, anyone wishing to post in here, reply to this post, let's twist the fabric of the forum...
