Not every PSX/N64 game is 3D, requiring huge computing power with them polygons and stuff...

Sams porno game would be playable, if Fenix gets ported
lol really???
can you give some examples??? ^^

it's true that getting all the PSX Shmups (for exemple) running on a handled would be a revolution for me
but the interest to get a N64 emulated without 3D possibilities would be more than limited ^^

But I think a good comparison would be the SNES. You could have perfect emulation with this machine. But, you might not get the extra chips and likes to work too well. SA whatsnots, mode seven, that Starfox chip... Thus leaving, say, 97% of all SNES games playable. For something like PSX, the number would be smaller. But Castlevania games, 2D RPG's, and the classic shmups could very well work. And puzzles, like Puzzle Bobble.

lol yeah ;p I'm honnestly not a fan of the 3D games, thus I would really enjoy a PSX emulator just for Castlevania or Arc The Lad or any classical shmups
but we must admit that's still a dream... by far I think PSX will surely be the most advanced emulation to handle for this generation of handled!
Concerning the Snes, I am near sure that Starfox is doable but I'm mainly looking forward to Virtua Racing emulated, for the "retro style" it got on MD (and we got *god*Reesy at our side, so every hope is possible

has it not been done on a pc yet?? (VR)
Jaw posted on Aug 4 2005 at 03:38 PM said:it's impossible. the cart has some code on a smd chip that needs to have a trojan runned on it. nobody knows what chip type it is as it is a sega custom, so there is no way to extract the code from it. it might be battery backuped, and die when the battery runs out (like sega's system 16 arcade games which are 68000's with battery backup code stored internally, that's been cracked ) there is little intrest to mess about so much for a game that does not much of a fanbase and is available easily and cheaply in real format.
