Cool.

Should be unvieled, I should think. :p

Can someone tell if that is CG or actual machine? (Just by looking at the picture...)

Technomart?

Horrible english... :p

Which one is this?

320x240, and plays videofiles of 720x480... Silly.

/me votes for a redesign.

look what this thing has to compete with (design wise):
psp.jpg

and: 32mb ram, but 64mb flash memory? wtf?

dual core cpu, but no 3d accelerator?

main feature says:
game.gif
wtf?

omfg!

Nah, different audience?

But I fear that controller....

And I'd like to see AA battery, match and a euro size comparison.

"dual core cpu, but no 3d accelerator?"

Typo, brainfart on behalf of GPH?

That looks too rough for my joints... Edges gnawing to my flesh...

Open lisence policy sounds nice...

And then there's Tom Cruise...

It's not that powerfull one. It's that personal movie player like. This one doesn't compete with PSP. And it has 3,5' screen which is very good for emulation :)

Any word yet on compatibility with the gp32? Will we be able to run gp32 software on it?

openly advertising emulator play, do you think this will cause problems if Sega/Nintendo catch wind of this? Other than that, seems to be open source, so should be a nice little system.

Emulators from the start hints at backward compability with GP32...

Craig!

This your machine? :p

"Jarkska- it does use AA batteries."

Nonono, size comparison. We all know how big an AA is, place it next to the machine, and get a much better idea of the size than any dimensions can give.

I'd say that " Enjoy Games with GPX2 now!
CPU which has 2D accelerator enables you enjoy games anytime anywhere. Meet the exclusive GPX2 games along with abundant emulators such as MAME, SNES, Genesis, PC Engine etc" means it's backwards compatible.

PC Development
Basic development: Linux
Windows: Enabled via Cygwin installation

Open SDK Library
Supports software development library : SDL(Simple Direct Library)
Basic Library
Graphic library (Sound library)
Hardware I/O library

Sounds good so far :)

at least 100 posts in 24 hours :p

seriously ... how can we expect backwards compatability from a company that can't retain compatability from one production model to another!

but it's GREAT to see GPH hasn't closed their doors to developers. that worried me--it's the primary reason i fell in love with the gp32 B)

edit: HOLY GOD! from those rendered gallery pictures, it looks as if GPH intends to include a battery indicator light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's everything i've ever wanted

Oy, great... But I still fear that stick... Analogue or digital? Do they mention that anywhere?

Edit: Holdings, it reads on the machine... :p

GP32: 147mm X 88mm X 34mm
GPX2: 143.6mm* 82.9mm*34mm

About the same size. :)
