(ps: of course, not noticeably in idle showing windows desktop with 1Go of RAM but capturing means accessing to the ram and a storage device, plus a small tiny bit of CPU time, when you're using 100% of the machine, that's noticeable, that was a big problem of FRAPS in it's early versions cuz even my big modern pc skipps a frame or 2 when capturing a big videogame when i had less ram you could hear it swap a second! )
