Gp2psx V0.34f

ripping questions:
what tool can I use to cut video and music from a CD? what happens when I do this?
How hard would it be to take a demo disk and strip unwanted demos off leaving a smaller file?

just started using the emulator today, it's *beautiful*. And it's a great excuse to dig out my old game collection. Files are a bit bigger than I'd like though--I seem to remember these being smaller back in the day...

read shikaku's rom creation guide, it's pretty extensive.

i dont see why people use rapidshare when there are better solution without timer crap and download limit.
Like sendspace.com for example.

Edit: cant get the file, rapidshare is bitching.
They probably don't know about sendspace?! ;)

I don't see any speed improvements. I'm still only getting 2-3 fps in FF7 @ 266MHz...

I wonder if SD speed might have any impact.

The file will be automatically deleted when the 100GB bandwidth limit per file has been reached or after 14 days of file inactivity. The file remains available for as long as it is still being accessed and bandwidth is available for that file.

Rapidshare for free users is unlimited bandwidth and 30 days of inactivity. For paid (like me, I use it for everything) it stays as along as you pay, and no wait to dl. Not even seeing the page. It just dl's like a file.

read shikaku's rom creation guide, it's pretty extensive.

after looking, pocketiso seems to do much of what I need for killing music and movies--no luck on individual demos yet. I didn't see any kind of extensive guide by shikaku, did I miss something? I found a link for it, but it seemed to point to a thread with a very brief set of instructions, that were also listed in the readme.

for individual demos, I bet all I need is a program to fish around inside bin files and kill individual files. sure most of the menu options won't work, but who cares? any recommendations for tools?

My guide isn't extensive, and I made sure it wasn't! It was meant for the average computer person so that he can do it himself!
