Here is Daikatana, the game from John Romero.

The data files from the original game. If you don't have them, a Demo pnd exist, ready to play.

The game use gl4es, and is configured with shoulder button as mouse button, and Nubs configured for FPS game (Left nub to move, Right nub to aim).

The usual configuration files (left_nub, right_nub and .noshouldermb) are also used.

I never really liked that game on PC, maybe because of the blurry textures and the controls felt weird. It was many years ago when I played this game.

However, it looks really decent on the Pandora. I should give it one more try.^^

No, it's closed sources, but thanks to @Lightkey I got access to them :)

Yes, it's smooth on the Pandora, and the controls are ok (well, you still need to get used to the nubs). The game is still frustating, with the many traps everywhere...

Wow, when ptitSeb runs out of open-source stuff to port, he starts porting closed-source stuff!  :p

(and I also vote in favor of UT and SiN ;)  )

They seem to have access to the source of Unreal to do community patches and already added more modern renderers, soundframeworks and bugfixes as well as Linux support.

Yes, but they cannot share the sources.

I need an agreement from Epic, and I cannot find any contact for that.

You could try to join their team to be the one who will add arm linux support.

As they already did a Linux version it should be in range of their rights to port it to different platforms.

Edit: Also I would think they have a contact person at Epic.

In fact no it's not. They don't have to right to port to other plateform :( .

Could posting in the epic forums get their attetion?

I could try to get some info if you like.

The version with qemu user already works but is way too slow.

The guys from oldunreal have made such deal before so why shouldn't it be possible for others.

Maybe they are afraid that somebody starts selling a crappy android version.

Edit: also sorry for all the offtopic talk. If appropriate a mod could split this discussion into a separate thread.
