More stupid than that, a gksu i used for the make xconfig was stuck and consuming CPU.

Have another question, i thought the -append will remove the random numbers after the kernel name, but no.

So i have uname -r :

3.2.53-sl4p-00123-d1215454

Do you know how to remove these numbers ?

I've noticed something bad some weeks ago, but i now report it.

Tested under Slackware, with the official kernel:

Then when using the OP, i have a lot of write-error on swap-device

The system seems stable though.

Noticed that i still activate zram with

echo 64*1024*1024 | bc > /sys/block/zram0/disksize

Seems that's not needed anymore, trying without.

Won't work without !

Strange i can't find those lines anywhere in the Zaxxon init.d !

And a technical question. I've patched the kernel for real time. Now, i can't compile it as usual:

Hi,

I am facing this same issue.(http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26191390/preempt-rt-kernel-in-linux-sunxi-for-cubieboard-compilation-errorsmm-page-allo) Did you manage to solve this?

I have no solution for now.

I also have to use a gcc older than 4.8.2 in order to compile a working kernel natively on ARM.

Just tried to compile natively on Slackware armhf + gcc 5.4.0 , fails at rtl8712 module :

Probably newer gcc is more strict about duplicate symbols (I'm still on 4.9), I guess you'll need to disable rtl8712 module in .config.

Didi you try to add
Code:
-Wl,--allow-multiple-definition
to CFLAGS or LDFLAGS to allow multiple definition during link ?

and restarted the make as is, still fails
