Quick update and summary

There may be news, but to my mind at least you shouldn't really start bleating about there being no new news unitl 4 weeks have passed, as since I recall the average gap between news posts is about that. Now, we're damnably close to that now already, and I'd hope that surely there is news but unless there's an out-of-stream twitter post (there hasn't according to my rss feeds) I wouldn't expect a properly formatted news post. Amongst others my ability to make vaguely correct posts off the bat (ably assisted by spellcheck, I will admit) might make that seem an improbable demand on his abilities, but I can't say that he's spent quite the time on the internet that I have.

Yes, here is a quick status update!

The lack of updates this time can be blamed on me:
I had a few rough weeks (a colleague with whom I worked for 20 years died of a heart attack - and we were in the middle of a project), Retrode2 arrived which caused tons of orders and I catched a cold which slowed me down a bit as well :/

So I didn't find a lot of time to work on building the prototypes. At least I finished replacing one resistor on all mainboards (which limited the charging to 1.4A) and worked a bit on the software side, but I couldn't find the time to do much, sadly.

This time, no company is to blame, it was simply me, myself and I.

I'll try to catch up ASAP and work build those prototypes this weeked (or at least as many as I can!)
I'll also try to catch up with the results from Uniqueplast.

I'm so sorry for the delay, but I couldn't push myself to it (and you think twice about pushing yourself if a colleague just died because of overworking, basically...)

No worries ED. Make sure you take some self care time, especially after losing someone close to you. Take time for yourself to grieve bro. Looking forward.

I feel bad now, and I'm really sorry to hear about your colleague. Was wondering as one of your previous comments mentioned being really tired, but glad that at least you're okay.

Take your time going forward, and thanks for spending a moment to post here; very much appreciated :)

Hi ED,

you have nothing to catch up. The project takes as long as it takes, and rushing to get things done simply generates more mistakes that need clearing up later. Please don't get caught up in the Planning Fallacy. And, please don't lose sleep over unnecessary self-imposed deadlines. If you feel you have to meet deadlines that you committed to in the throes of optimism bias, stop, take a deep breath and try to be more realistic.

Regular updates are great, but don't feel you have to do something for the next update. Cut tasks up into the smallest possible chunks, and see how many of those chunks you actually manage to do, rather than what you wish you had done. Your happiness and health are important, so take the time that you need to do things right. You have some very valuable abilities, so please don't burn out.

Not sure - he might've been in our company when you were there as we were producing a monthly 15 minutes TV magazine with him.

my cellphone has started to take a subconscious beating! hurry with the release but not too fast though because of clumsiness... im an American, of course I'm backwards in relation to you, can't you tell that German is the backwards English lol.

I'm done rambling, so keep up the good work!
