Many of the people I know carefully reduced their medication, so in these cases I knew for sure how bad the symptoms without some of their medication would be. And even before someone has done that, he can still compare the symptoms for which he initially started taking meds with the side-effects that he currently has to get an idea of whether the meds really improved his life.Which should make you wonder, how bad the symptoms must had been they no longer have due to the medication.
you quoted the bible. OMGI get it though, the different parts of the body are so tightly connected that it is difficult to just have one part of it be in a malfunctioning state without the rest following suit. As a result, medical conditions often work as is described in Matthew 13:12: "Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."
Maybe, maybe not but still quite likely given that personality has to do with thought processes, which can be altered by pharmaceuticals in different ways...I'm not sure how healthy it is to ascribe parts of your personality to drugs you may have been given. Maybe it's just part of who you are at the end of it all.
