Psx4gp2x Beta Testers Thread

i would gues it to be about 4fps difference, i think figure was 3fps per 10mhz overclock.
this of course depends on the game.

lol, if you underclock to about 50mhz, it would mean you would play at -60fps! Wehay! FF8 Backwards! :p

No! You can't turn the time backwards, it's the law of physics ;)

if you underclock to 50 mhz, you play at 0-1 fps

Nonono, that's the way they did those mirrior tracks for Ridge Racer, they ran the CPU at negative mhz.

We are looking at a equation that involves multiplication not addition thats how you would never get to negatives, it would just be a huge decimil. Yes I know you were making a joke, just explaining it to everyone.

EDIT: grrr, I was beat. Damn my slow thinking!

there is no law in physics that means you can not turn back time!! ;) you know einstein? everything in this case is a question of the speed. time stand still if you are fast as the light. einstein said it is a absolute speed. but we know it isn`t true. in adition to the "tunneleffekt" there is a speed possible that adds the speed of the light to the effektspeed. time runs backwards. everything is relative. the only problem is, all materials go to a higher energetical level (waves) if they was push to lightspeed. "if you are fast as light, you are light". (for people outside of this fast system)
it is only a theoretical problem. but this "law" does not exist. B)

My teacher from Algorithmic course showed us a mathematical proof that P problem class = NP problem class. The proof itself was simple like hanging your M$ Windows system but when someone asked him about example (the proof involved choosing one problem from one class and one from another) of problems that would prove it, he said "Now that's the reason why I still haven't got that $1.000.000 prize"
In other words Nr.56 if there's no law it doesn't mean that you can do it. It also doesn't mean that you can't do it but such theoretical talk is useless ;-)

Anyway, how about comming back to GP2PSX topic?

I for one have experienced travelling back in time, and i can prove it!. I was once a prince and i was on my way home to babylon, and then i fought all these baddies, but when i ran along a wall like 100m, i fell down, so i used the sands of time to go backwards in time and the second time i succeded, omg it was amazing, and then i did it again, but it all got repetative so it actually got boring and people said it was unrealistic but its true i did it and they even made a website about and in fact they made a game look: My biography

:D you are welcome to think about!!!

time is a vektor like temperature or speed. it is not absolute, it depends on speed! one second in a car is not the same than one second in a spaceshuttle for instance. time runs forward in both cases. at lightspeed time stands still for people outside. if the speed increase time runs backward. if it is possible for material or not, there is no law against. ;)

just an idea: if I drive my car as fast as possible, time to the next psx4gpx release must be shorter :D

PS: and this is the truth, ask your teacher from Algorithmic course (or better: your teacher for physics) :D

It's not a Vector, it's a dimension, or ok, and 1 dimensional vector too. But in Einstein theory time is one of the dimensions and there are two kinds of time: outside time and the time of the moving system (I may be wrong with the names, I think). There was a theory that if you travel with speed of light you will stop the time, true. But according to the Einstein theory, the speed of light is the border of speed. If it is not, then what you say is right. One way or another, this theory is useless, especially in this thread and this time.

PS.
If you'll drive with your car as fast as possible then time to the next release of psx4gp2x would be longer not to mention, that you would have to achieve something near speed of light and then you would achieve 3rd space speed and that means you would depart from our solar system.

In theory of course ;-)
But still, aren't this kind of theories useless?
