Hello there,

here's another converted PND from the Angstrom-Repo: Pingus.

It is a free Lemmings-Clone with Penguins. :)

It will overclock to 700 MHz and run in "fast-mode" (without backdrops and some effects) to gain a decent speed.

Download PND

On the first run it will create a needed symbolic link on your NAND.

Pingus was already on the games list:
Thanks! Somebody on the german Forum pointed this out to me too.

My Fault: i didn't check the Wiki first, only EDs file-archive.

For future releases/ports/packages i now know which site to check...

How is this version different?
Since i didn't know of the other version until now, i can't really answer on that.

The Angstrom-Version (which i've packaged) is 0.7.2; if the other port has the same version-nr.,

there shouldn't be noticable differences (my guess)...

Does every PND do this? Or is this something about your particular packaging?
This is only due to my particular packaging and the way the Pingus-Angstrom-Package is done.

Most of the level-stuff, graphics aso. will be searched by Pingus in "/usr/share/pingus", and the path "/usr/share" resides on your NAND.

So on the first run my startup-script creates a link on your NAND pointing to the virtual filesystem (eg. the pingus.pnd-file) on your sd-card.

If someone could point out a better solution to this, i'd be really glad to know it!
