Let's talk colors!

Just to show my age, my first Game Boy was grey, and there were no other colors available. My next one was a translucent purple GBC. Since then I have collected and modified many more. I don't think some of the colors Nintendo has used on their handhelds would look to good on the Pyra. I do not want it painted, like the GBA SP and others, at all.

Hi, thats nice to hear ! The last months at my shelf must have been a bit boring for my Pandora. So i am happy that it has found a new home at your place.
Do you plan to get a Pyra in the near future ?

@ED
With almost everyone that gets vocal here on the boards already expressed their ideas and wishes, how about making a poll with (non-)colours, people can choose from ?

I absolutely will put in a preorder as soon as it is open. Would love a full debian, larger screen, cellular data, 1080p video, hdmi out, extra buttons, and better nub Pyra. I just hope that the bigger screen, more power, all the LED's and other effects/ improvements don't degrade from that awesome battery life the Pandora had.

I am waiting for the next post, i bet it will be about a working prototype.

Actually, that doesn't look half bad^.

Honestly, I want any other colors than what appears to be the most wanted around here, black/grey. Black is the most lifeless and dull color out there for a system to me, I only ever buy a device in blk when it is the ONLY option. I'm no Steve Jobs fan, but I do admire his ideals in regards to life and colors, why should a device be a "dead" color. That orange actually "pops" and looks alive, black is so dull and generic, like a door stop. LOL

I think that black is the most popular colour due to it not distracting from what's on the screen
