sounds like a fun idea indeedI was thinking... wouldn't it be awesome if it was possible to test a usb cable by plugging one end into the Pyra's host port and the other end into the micro-usb port? Well, assuming something doesn't fry...
Well, the bad one would take longer to charge, wouldn't it? And assuming the good cable doesn't require significantly more resources during production and disposal/recycling, it is an unneccessary waste of energy.But... after changing the charger chip configuration, even the shitty cables work... sure, non-shitty ones work better, but you won't have a problem with shitty cables either
So what are we waiting for now, on the road to mass production?
3. What's left?
Well, it seems we fixed all the hardware issues we found.
The bare CPU boards are expected to arrive around October 20th, we'll produce 30 more prototypes then, these will be enough for more devs and the Prototype orders.
The case is currently getting the remaining tweaks, the keymat as well... well, that's it.
So some of these 30 Prototyphs will also used, for testing, and if there fine, mass Produktion could be made pretty quick ??
Hey yeah, about how long after the prototypes ship will the mass production start, assuming all goes well?
It was 30 seconds! Even if that was all actual boot time and not several seconds of delay, 30 seconds is an excellent boot time. Why are people complaining? For those complaining about the boot time
Is that including or excluding POST time? Because I got a system down to about ten seconds to cold boot Windows, minus POST.Well, my laptop takes about 4 seconds to cold boot minus the grub countdown. Standards are higher now
