Sorry, it is true. If you check out the specs I did post a few posts earlier on that thread, you can clearly see it's a totally different handheld I was talking about.
It was based on ARM9 and had no analogue nubs. Those were our original plans: Build a gp2x-compatible handheld with better DPad, etc. and AT LEAST proper SNES emulation.
As the MMSP2 was out of date, we had devboards for the MMSP2+. We found out SNES was even slower than on the MMSP2 so we scrapped that handheld.
From this idea the Pandora arose, yes, but that was a different thing. No keyboard, no nubs. We were going for a cheap chinese designed case (basically similar to the Dingoo).
So this thing really is vapourware.
