Vobbo has released the Beta 1.03 of his promising Hu6280!

Added volume scaler to mixer code, you can adjust volume now!
Buttons A,B,C,D,E,F are now actually remappable from the inifile...
plus some minor optimizations.

you can find it at vobbo's site:

http://www.vobbo.gptheatre.co.uk

Get it quick and...ENJOY

top banana, when i'll get home im gonna try this puppy out- time to update my top three me thinks

Just grabbed it and tried changing button A and B to various things and the controls didn't alter. How odd. Am I doing something exceptionally stupid?

Pff! I'm not a total idiot. :)

I've been swapping the numerical values after the button names, for example from:

BUTA=12
BUTB=14
BUTC=15
BUTD=13
BUTE=10
BUTF=11

to

BUTA=14
BUTB=15
BUTC=13
BUTD=12
BUTE=10
BUTF=11

or whatever.

hello everyone
I haven't try it yet but I think that the other button (directional pad) should be change for some game like Devil Crush, as the GP2x pad is far from perfect. It could be cool to use the L & R. Hope next version will support multiple combinaison so we'll not need to make different ini file or support different cnfiguration for games.

I'm just wondering if there are any plans to add Super Grafx support?
I'd love to see 1941 and Daimakaimura (Ghouls and Ghosts) running on the GP2X.

Another enhancment that I would vote for on http://www.vobbo.gptheatre.co.uk would be a screen stretch so that:

1). Games that are larger than the 320 screen width like R-Type, Mr Heli, Ninja Spirit can be shrunk to fit.
2). Regular resolution games can stretch to the full screen size.

This should definitely be an option and not the default, as some people won't like this.

Great emulator. Thanks for the volume control support. Can play now with sound and not drive others mad <_<

First time I checked out the emu vobbo...

.. sweet! :)

I only through a few roms at it (bonk, r-type part 1, parodius, raiden, bomberman 94) and all were flawless and sounded great :)

Do people like the ini file approach to configuration? Or are most people too intimidated?

We think if we ask him for a define controls option he'll die of exhaustion given the number of hours he's putting into this already. ;)
