Ugh, had another "conversation" this morning. People on Discord might know what I'm talking about. All I remember is someone saying "Your DPS sucked!"

Not sure which game they were referring to. I mean, I've always hated games that were dependent on good builds though. I also hate it when a piece of media leaves you feeling like it's your fault you didn't enjoy it.

I also wonder why these people keep coming to talk to me if they don't like what I have to say. I don't initiate nor control these conversations.

It's just exhausting when someone pours all their negative energy into you, nearly every day, for nearly five years.

I've done my best to absorb it instead of passing it on, but I've been slipping lately. Wonder if it wouldn't have a net positive effect on the universe for me to end it all.

Would cause my dad and two sisters grief, but save some thousands of internet video viewers some trouble.

It's definitely what they want too. They've tried to lure people into killing me before. Said they wouldn't even mind being charged with accessory to murder or reckless endangerment or whatever.

sounds you are in a really bad mood right now! i would suggest to stay away from discord for some time
and for now try to keep calm, fetch some favour food and drink a tea to chill out a bit.
on these boards you are absolutely safe, nobody will harm you.
stay strong!

Ugh, I keep losing faith in the NDE subreddit. Maybe because Sandi's left. Most of them seem to subscribe to the karma and forced reincarnation myth. Most of them are like me, they haven't had any meaningful experience. They tend to latch onto certain books though, whereas I don't trust people who are selling something.

If you pay attention to actual NDEs, most of them are Universalist. I know the idea that your enemies don't suffer in the afterlife is a bitter pill for some people to swallow, but anyone who's been through real suffering doesn't wish it upon anyone else. It's really the only thing binding me to this Earth right now. Three people grieving my death is still too many.

Sound like you need to expand your horizons again because you are in a very tight environmental box. Usually people stop internetting, but that gets them bored if they dont have activities to do (like cleaning with loud up-beat radio music; deep showering/bathing - where you wash every inch of your body with a sponge or bathbrush, while singing). Try to do that stuff, a good movie, put it at the entrance of the bath, make sure you don't wet the cables (no short circuits) and bathe with a movie (usually half a movie, because the water gets freezing cold). Move your TV to the sleeping room, and watch TV while in bed. Just do something -different- like sleeping with your head at your feet side. That usually helps.
As for broadening your horizon, remember you can do that only out of the comfort zone. So it will take some self-determination to bite through it. Make it something useful. Like learning a small skill, for example, to pot a plant (depth of seed, time of year, soil type) -as you get flowers or vegetables/fruits(I recommend cherry tomatos; tomatoes are strong and easy, just keep them watered) you eat self-made dinners with self-grown vegetables. Light up your house! (not with matches, but buy those stringed lights and decorate a window (also buy a timer so you don't need to remember to turn them off at bedtime). Take time to make a good linner. Eggs ham avocado's toast tea or something different: cocoa with a splash of vanilla and cloves. Use a bit less of sugar or other sweet than normal.

My nerve conduction test found that my nerves are fine, but that the swelling in my feet is bad. As for why the swelling in my feet is bad, that wasn't within the scope of the test.

He recommended an appointment with my primary doctor for that.

I mean, I always just assumed my feet were fat, not swollen. They're not red or anything like that. And it's still weird that it would only affect certain toes on one foot.

He did say a nerve was compressed, but that it was due to a combination of swelling and tight footwear.

I've been looking up causes of feet swelling, and diabetes is just one of many. I have high blood pressure, which is also a cause. And liver problems, which can also be a cause. They even said anti-depressants could be a cause, though not the kind I'm on.

Regular people I've talked to mention sodium intake as a cause. I don't think it's that though, because it's been a constant. Unless my body's ability to handle sodium recently changed.

The last time I had trouble with swollen feet, the staff here not only mentioned sodium, they recommended drinking a bunch of water to flush out my system.

The thing is though, I did that, and it made things way worse. I gained like ten pounds and hurt everywhere. It wasn't until I stopped drinking so much water that I got closer to normal.

When I was in the psych ward, they mentioned that people on psych meds can't have too much water, because it will damage their kidneys. It's why they kept the water locked up there.

Wooo, quadruple post.

I tried looking up the sodium content in my instant coffee, and it's likely trivial. I'll just stick to drinking that, if it's all the same to you guys.

To quote the nineties: "Water sucks! It really, really sucks!"

I remembered a conversation I had maybe a year ago with "them" about game development. I had made a little text adventure demo in FUSE4 Switch. I think I said something about how I wanted inventory navigation to work the same as regular navigation. He told me I should use game states instead. Funny, it almost seemed like encouragement.

I still have that fear that he wants to sabotage anything I try to do. It's mostly based on this one conversation I still can't remember. Just something about what I was doing being wrong. I mean, he even had a sympathetic tone. "I know you just want to make games, but..." I don't remember the rest of the sentence.

Swollen feet, loss of sensation, shoes too small, weight fluctuations...not a Dr. But it sounds like diabetes

If it were diabetes, shouldn't I have fainted by now? It isn't something you can manage based on intuition alone.

I ate two medium pizzas yesterday, which is a relatively common event for me. All it did was make me nap a bit.

Depends how bad it is. Also falling asleep after carbs CAN be a sign. It isn't always though.

If someone with prediabetes or Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes feels tired after eating, it could be a symptom of hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia.

Hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) may occur when too many sugars are consumed. It’s made worse if there’s inefficient or insufficient insulin to transport sugars to the cells for energy.
