Important color changes

Are you sure it's not the TWL6030 or some other product?
To be precise: it is the TWL6037B2A1RVL.
VDD-DDR3L is produced by one SMPS and has no feedback (which end of the 4 DDR3L chips should be the reference?).
If needed, we can increase the voltage up to 1.5V (DDR3L chips can also be operated with that voltage).

So I was reading the latest kernel mail, and I might be wrong but is the rotation abd 3D acceleration working at the same time now?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this, I didn't want to make a new thread.

Sounds like tiler rotation is looking promising, and should no longer require running an old kernel to get it to work. 3D acceleration being applied to that kernel was still coming soon last time I looked, with Pandora and GTA04 being the initial targets for getting the letux OS running with that.

Rotation never needed an old kernel, it just didn't work with the most recent one without an update :)

so is there any new news? just wondering, kinda quiet which is a good and bad thing in my opion

Aww darn, he only just ordered them? I thought he would have done that around the same time as this news thread was created.

Global Components were in holidays, I couldn't have ordered them ;)
Ohhhh OK. How many boards did you order?
[doublepost=1515428615,1515428324][/doublepost]I'm sorry I didn't think of the holidays, of course they deserve a vacation.

I'm just wondering if you ordered enough for mass production or just a prototype run.

that is a great question. if all of the issues are fixed like ED says they are, then i hope he did half the product run, get as many out to people to test and see real world how they work, but i have no clue on building a system like this so in ED I TRUST
[doublepost=1515437279,1515430321][/doublepost]man i wish this PYRA was here. found out last month wife and i are having twins. starting to look at where all my money has gone and what i could get back, i see the PYRA and im like nope keeping this one cause it will be worth it. had a ProMega 3d printer i pre-ordered and sold my space in line for that and it hurt. im with this one till the end. ED make this the best it can be cause i wont be able to afford the next one i thing:D

I don't know if any of the paid prototype orderers selected having a hopefully working unit, rather than an absolutely confirmed working units, but if there were any, those have to be satisfied before a production run can really happen, I'd have thought.

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think the paid prototypes are going to come out substantially earlier than the general release. After all, what is 2 months on a 2+ year wait?

Not yet set how many we'll produce - at least 10 but maybe 20.
I'll get more details on the pricing within the next few days and will then consider the amount.

We're not ordering yet for a full production run - we did that last time and you know what happened.
We will use these for the prototype orders (finally!) - unless someone who ordered would rather get a 2GB board.

Although I'm OK/agnostic with/between 2GB or 4GB of RAM, I'm not so OK with one of the previous board generations - I understand there were a lot of fixes beyond the 4GB RAM issue that were taken care of when moving to the board batch currently on-order. I'll wait for those fixes. What is 2 more months on 2 years?

Besides, we're still waiting on cases aren't we?
