Analyzing 4GB RAM

Almost 18 months since preorders have started. Does anyone feel responsible?
for what? for one thing they are doing everything they can do. there not google or apple. i have to say this is is going better than the pandora. we all knew there was going to be a wait and trial and error phase with it. if you expected it asap then im sorry but its going to take a bit for them to get this working the way they want also we have known for awhile that the cases where in limbo due to the seems to me the incompetence of the manufacture of them. also dont forget that they have been working on the 4gb issue also. eeven if the cases where there and they could start building, they cant do anything till that issue is fixed. so sit back relax have a BEER and BBQ and let them work. on a side note i did order a 4gb pyra and its paid off so

My understanding is that everything that can be done with the minimal resources available is being done. There's never been an official deadline for mass production and shipping either, so as mecksg1 says, Responsible for what?

ED's management of the whole project, while not perfect, is an awful lot better than I could do, and vastly better than the alternative of having no Pyra at all. It's better than Craig's management, and better than a great many kickstarter projects, too.

If we're going to complain about everything that isn't quite perfect, then WHERE'S MY RAINBOW UNICORN?!

I do not even remember exactly how many years the Pandora took after the preorder, was it three years?

Depending on where you were in line, I got mine quite early but after that a lot of "stuff" started happening. Im still very confident in ED I he seems to try to prevent "stuff" for the pyra. People complaining about a preorder for which no eta was mentioned anywhere must probably stop preordering stuff. :D

I also see it alot on kickstarter people seem to have very litte patience.

I preordered my Pandora to Craig the 09/30/2008... and got it around the 20 of june 2010. Then ED took care of it when it had issues. I may still have that cracked first "first batch edition" case somewhere.

Nice, same as me. I was in Craigs first batch too. I still use the original black case witch cracks and all. But there's a GHz board in it now (And it has a silver colored battery cover as the old one was damaged by a bulging battery)

Hmm i remember the DEC Rainbow. Maybe i can find one on ebay. lol. not.

Other rainbows (my eyes are bleeding).

Every pre-orderer who can read knows that they paid a downpayment towards a then-semi-hypothetical device that would (might) become available at some unstated future date. There's no reason to think our Pyras won't meet the pre-order terms when we are finally able to get them. :)

I also get a XSS warning going there. Not sure the trouble is worth the gif to be honest.

Kyle: What are you gonna do to us?

Kyle: What is this? What's going on?!

Woman: You- You agreed to the iTunes terms and conditions, too?

Kyle: What?

Woman: I just clicked "Agree." I didn't read it.

Woman: I was in a hurry, you see... and I- I didn't know what I was agreeing to!

Man: I can't even read English!

Guard: Hey, shut up in there!

Guard: You all agreed to stay quiet.

Kyle: Hey! Hey, let me out of here!

Kyle: This is a mistake! I agreed by accident!

Guard: You can't agree by accident. There's a failsafe built in.

Guard: Even if you click on "Agree," another little window pops up that says "Are you sure you agree?" and you have to click on "Agree" again.

Woman: What're you going to do to us?

Guard: Everything that you agreed to in the iTunes conditions.

Kyle: We didn't read them!

Guard: Heh! Right. Who just agrees to something they didn't read?

I’m a bit worried now about the news,
Normally I would just wait and be happy to read the news whyle I didn’t know the time before that there will be a news post
But as EvilDragon announced this yesterday, I’m a bit under pressure as I know it will be something not really good

like i said before, this is still going way smoother than the Pandora in my opinion. Ed is at least telling us whats going on and what they are trying to do. that there makes me happy to wait and not worry to much about it.
