I'm interrested in what OS the community uses, and specifically what OS do you use for your dev'ing. I will start.
I'm using Gentoo GNU/Linux on my desktop and SuSE GNU/Linux on my Laptop...I have no windows.

Cool, another Gentoo user. I have Gentoo Linux on my notebook and I have a G5 iMac that I run OSX on. I've been looking at Kubuntu though, so I may try that on my notebook. No windows here, and no viruses or spyware as a added bonus.

Thanx,
Stan

i've always wanted to try linux, but i'm too lazy. winxp only here

Linux
Package: Vector SOHO

My laptop does have Win2k, but I only ever boot it to use Movix2.

I already opened a thread like this in the off-topic section... (where it belongs..)

Besides, I use Ubuntu Linux most of the time. Sometimes also Windows XP. (games only)

I use Kubuntu 5.04 here at home. I also have an Apple iBook. I'm stuck with Windows XP at work.

Gentoo GNU/Linux with pekwm.
And winXP for games like Sim City 4.

SuSE Linux 9.3. No Windows. Once you get rid of it, all your headaches go away.
Linux on my iPAQ too. Familiar 0.8.1 running Opie.

OSX on my Mac Mini (the machine I use most), OSX on my powerbook, Ubuntu on my PC and Win XP for work. I write windows apps at work, and don't have windows on any of my own machines. Something not quite right there! (Or maybe something very right if I think again)

Gentoo linux AMD64 on my main computer, kubuntu on the computer I'm now

KDE 3.4 on both :D

Symbian on my mobile phone

I'm a lazy person, so I use XP Home because that's what my laptop came with. My old PC, a 400MHz thing with 128MB RAM, runs Fedora Core 4. I use it as a server, but I don't use it much because it's really REALLY noisy.

Win2k/XP. Using Visual Studio 2003 for Uni. Might try topologilinux at some point as I am to tied down Windows at present.

Mac OSX on my powerbook with Eclipse + subclipse (SVN) plugin. I also have Gentoo on an x86 server that I use for doing toolchain compiles and data baking for games.
