What about Leander> It doesnt detect collision so u can move on the map freely. And not diying unless u fall on the spikes. That is a terrific game... :)

Some look more serious than others - Great Giana Sisters completely nails uae4all at the moment!
I got Giana Sisters working on v0.6.3 & v0.6.4 :

- start it up with SOUND OFF and 100% CPU emu bias.
- wait after Red Sector intro, game depacks showing only a black screen for ~20 seconds before 'Time Warp Productions' screen appears.
- keep SOUND OFF until interlaced Giana Sisters loading screen appears (you can put it on after that).
- when game has loaded, and scrolling Giana Title screen appears, adjust emu bias 1 place to the right for decent performance in game.

It seems that the mad squeeling sounds (depacking sound) that normally play after the Red Sector intro are some how connected with the fatal crash!?

That's interesting, rooster. I've had reports that it works fine on the G*zm*do port of 0.6.3 that I released recently.

Huimmm The settlers doesnt work, it loads a bit and then it stays loading on sector 40 forever, that happen with any ADF of the settlers. And i think i tried all the emulation bias..

Yes it does work. It works with the ADF of The Settlers that I used, clearly, as I wrote that it worked.

Mine's the Fairlight release. I put disk 1 in df0:, and disk 2 in df1:. I left sound on, and set the emu bias to full CPU.

Please state which adfs you were using. I'll get hold of them and try them myself.

About the-saving-to-disk-thing. I tried the excellent WINGS last night and it seemed that my progression was saved to disk !. I tried the lowest emu bias, and exited the game and the emulor by using the proper precedures (choosing exit that is). When I restarted the gp2x all seemed to be saved...

I will do some more testing ....

I still cannot get saves to work on any of my games, it saves them fine as I can see the files created but it just will not load them. I tried it on the lowest emu bias setting as suggested above as well.

I am using firmware 2.0.1

PGA tour golf has an actual save game option in the drop down menu from the pga tent, if someone could try this and report back as I would appreciate to know if it is just me.

How are you launching uae4all? Where on the SD card is it?

I don't have the courses disk for PGA tour golf, so I don't think I can help test that one.

At the moment its in a UAE4ALL directory in the root of the SD and I am launching it with the standard gp2x menu. The courses disk is just disk 2.

Right, so basically your uae4all setup is the same as mine. I don't have the disk 2 for PGA tour golf with me... I'll have to look for it at home.

In my disk set, at least, disk 3 is the one that has the intro on. I know that originally it was the other way around, and disk 1 had the long intro, but that's not the case for me here, and you might be having the same problem. Thus, for me, putting the disk named 'settle1.adf' in df0:, and the disk named 'settle2.adf' in df1: works (no long intro, just the game).

When you get things like this happen, it's always a good idea to try the disks in WinUAE or similar to try to figure it out - that's what I did on this occasion.

Yeah that is true silly of me :p . I will test it later, thanks for the tip.
