Release UAE4All 2.0

Yes all my games and kick starts all work with winuae.

Rick dangerous loads too ( non aga game ) but the screen is garbled as well, music is stuttersville. Think this might be attributed to the screen flashing..

Umm...forgot to add the chipset- and cpu-settings from the symbian misc-menu.

Will add this now so we can select 68020 and AGA.

I have everything on the stock selections other than I am using kick13.rom 2mb chip ram and 2mb fast ram to get kickstart 3.1 to run. I am only clocking to 600mb as overclocking in UAE4ALL appears to be broken with this alpha and causes my system to lock.
Good find - thanks.

Also WHDLoad only woks with 2MB Fast-RAM (not more) according to AnotherGuest.

Here's the new PND with selectable CPU and chipset in "More Options":

UAE4ALLv2.0.pnd

Pinball Fantasies AGA works with CPU 68000 (!) and Chipset AGA.

Pinball Illusions works with CPU 68020 and AGA.

Both run mostly at about 0.01 fps though...

(But at least Party Land table looks very colorful in AGA. ;) )

Do i need to create a seperate appdata folder for this?

How come it runs so slow? Is it still flashing?

I've now tried both versions of the PND and two different SD cards, I've tried renaming various kick start files, still no joy! :(

You've put the pnd in /media/sda1/.

Try to put it in /media/sda1/pandora/menu/ (remove any other uae4all pnds from there) and then start UAE4All through the Pandora menus (Emulation->UAE4All).

I put the PND into the menu subdirectory as indicated. I did notice it doesn't generate a appdata directory upon running though, had to do that myself after. Still have the same kick start issue though!

For some unknown reason, this PND has decided to start working if I reboot and start it first thing!

I tried using my hard disk file from Panduae, not too successful so far! On that PND I used to use a hard file and the link to another directory with my games in it! Here I can only select a hard file, which so far I can't get to load properly!(but I'll try more later!)

(null)

No matter what files I try, whether AGA or ecs, the screen graphics are all terribly messed up. Is that to be expected for this emulator so far?

(null)

Not gotten a hard disk to run yet, but I'm having limited success with some games! Just gotten Alien Breed 3d to load, but can't really play it as I don't know how to activate arrow keys from the Pandora keyboard(or is that even possible??)

(null)

You can map arrow keys to dpad using custom controls menu. I think R+dpad is arrow keys in joystick mode.

Robocod AGA loads, almost playable in bits as the frame rate varies wildly!

Here are now the latest sources with Makefile for building on Pandora:

uae4all_aga_pandora_src.zip

Everything builds fine and 68020- and AGA-emulation works, but the games run at about 0 fps, the screen flashes and the gfx are shaking all over the place (applies to 68000- and OCS/ECS-emulation, too).

Somewhere there is a logical bug which I can't find.

It's somewhere in drawing.cpp and/or custom.cpp I guess.

I hope somebody can find and solve the problem.

@stouffa: Thanks for your tests.

I'm just slowly working my way through the games I have, one or two simply crash, but I might have better luck with different versions, I'll have another run at it tomorrow! The potential is certainly there so I hope with the kinks ironed out this could be one of the tent pole emulators for the Pandora!!
