okay, I seem to have some kind of stupid problem.

I am trying to run moonstone, but the game stops loading saying that "Sorry, but this game is fixed only for 2Mb CHIP machines".

Which emulator should I use? (Cyclone 50Hz, FAME/C 50Hz, UAE 50Hz)

Why I cannot use Kickstart 3.1 ? In the interface I only see options for 1.2, 1.3 and 2.0. But I don't even have kick20.rom, I only have files kick12.rom, kick13.rom and kick31.rom.

md5sums:

192d6d950d0ed3df8040b788502831c2 kick13.rom

1a96ab3177d651a5dba7bfd4d46e4d8e kick12.rom

e40a5dfb3d017ba8779faba30cbd1c8e kick31.rom

In the same menu I see an option: "Memory Chip Size 1MB, 512KB". But it seems that I need 2MB. I tried putting into uaeconfig file a line "chipmem_size=2" but then uae4all is exiting (segfaulting?) when I try to run moonstone.

Can I make subdirectories in appdata/uae4all/roms, or should I put all games in single directory?

Your the man with the plan here, as I cant figure UAE4All at all (something cryptic about kickrom kb sizes known only to the illuminated and super frog, as he's almost a lizard) but surely this post belongs in the support section?

I don't know.. should I ask about how to run games in the support section?

For instance I want now to ask how to configure left nub for strafing (not working for me right now) and right nub for rotating (aready working) in prboom, and I'm afraid to post a new topic, becasue I don't know in which section, and I don't want to spam forums.

Here's a compatibility list with confirmed working ADFs:

For Moonstone use these ADFs: Moonstone (1991)(Mindscape)[cr CSL](Disk * of 3)

Runs perfect with 1MB RAM.

Currently there is no more RAM implemented.

Each core should work. But I'd suggest FAME/C so you can create a savestate at the games' title screen for instant loading the next time you wanna play it.

Also 320x205 is the best of the available resolutions for Moonstone. Most of the Pandora's screen will be used while correct x:y-aspect ratio is kept intact.

Kickstart 3.1 results in a black screen - but none of the currently supported games need it anyway.

Almost all of the supported games work with Kickstart 1.3.

Very few require Kickstart 2.0 (rare example: the English version of Amberstar).

Yes you can make subdirectories in appdata/uae4all/roms.

ok, I managed to start moonstone, but when I enter the lair to kill some monsters - it loads forever = hangs. Does it work for you?

Code:
:/media/mmcblk1p1/pandora/appdata/uae4all/roms/moonstone$ md5sum *

f1bcfadf32aa4cbd28d35835174c1291 m1.adf

55334282cdef5cbf8330c4d0ea1c3c83 m2.adf

f7c524ec034638f3307ab9bfb9972e6a m3.adf

I renamed .adf files so they are shorter, but they are from the file named as you pointed above.

Just tried it and entered 2 lairs without problems (1 northwestern plain with running boars and 1 southwestern forrest with those furballs).

But I seem to have different ADFs than you:

Code:
pandora:/media/mmcblk0p1/uae4all/roms/l-o$ md5sum Moonstone*

d530a9884fda2e97f2b0919595164d4e Moonstone (Disk 1).adf

b5ddc87d39a8239c20b7328cb99e1a7a Moonstone (Disk 2).adf

6d8de6e283e381fab0791c3a73c5a972 Moonstone (Disk 3).adf

Since I've renamed them, too, I don't know their TOSEC name.

edit: Found out it's these ADFs: Moonstone (1991)(Mindscape)(Disk * of 3)

So no [cr CSL]...
