I was visiting Nikolaus today and we discussed about the production timeline (yes, we're planning mass production already!)

I took the time to record the LED-Test running on the Prototype-PCBs (yep, no devboard anymore, this is the real thing).

This proves that the Pyra can actually be used for blinking lights on your christmas tree!

Enjoy :D

Just going off what I see from those LEDs in that video, it looks like the backlight for the keyboard is split into 4 zones? I sense a crude Simon LED game in the makes.

What, the LEDs are already running & mass production is already in discussion?

All aboard the hype-train - next stop: Pyra, Spring 2016! :)

Btw. ED: Any info on android-apps running on Pyra? You mentioned something ages ago and that thread has become more active recently :)

ACHTUNG!

ALLES TURISTEN UND NONTEKNISCHEN LOOKENPEEPERS!

DAS KOMPUTERMASCHINE IST NICHT FÜR DER GEFINGERPOKEN UND MITTENGRABEN! ODERWISE IST EASY TO SCHNAPPEN DER SPRINGENWERK, BLOWENFUSEN UND POPPENCORKEN MIT SPITZENSPARKEN.

IST NICHT FÜR GEWERKEN BEI DUMMKOPFEN. DER RUBBERNECKEN SIGHTSEEREN KEEPEN DAS COTTONPICKEN HÄNDER IN DAS POCKETS MUSS.

Maybe it was asked on another topic but, are the leds power adjustable to have more or less luminosity?

Not this Christmas though :(
