Try using Kounch's TV-out Fixer. This should help, I think. ;)

Yeah this is how I made my video caps. :)
You need to run it in PAL mode though.

Surely it'd have to run in the same format as the disc image, so NTSC may be applicable.

Edit: No, wait, I mean run it in the same format as your capture card... :p

The TV-Out fixer has given me problems whenever I've tried to use it in NTSC
    (I want 60FPS!!!)
Also capture cards can usually be set to whichever region you want...

Yeah i tried TV Fixer, but if i use it, everytime it syncronizes the screen (i set 10 secs), the picture is as double as big as before, and i see only the upper left quarter. I´m using FW 2.0, oh, maybe i need a new version of TV fixer? i noticed mine is old... :)

The TV Fixer only works for some apps. Doesn't work for others like Frodo and GNUBoy.

    OK, its uploaded now.
You can download it here in the Archive.
    Or watch it on Youtube

Its only the intro movie and the demo mode but looks very impressive. It would be even faster with activated interlacing, but it looked crap when captured on the PC so i switched intrlacing off.

almost every game seemed to look great at times and then have some sort of line problem where they were
not desplaying properly. There seems to be a problem with the capcom games that have the loading screen where the blocks are connected together and then it goes to capcom. If anyone has tested these games and got completly different numbers let me know. I am testing these on my external harddrive and I only tested a few games on my sd card as well and was unable to see a difference in speed.

*edit*: I did test gran turismo 2 z32fairlady not gran turismo so I will test all of these with the new beta. xnopasaranx yes it is legend not secret sorry for the mistakes. Fishbong it is the interlacing problem, but I am not sure if that is the case for all of them. While some of the games I could clearly see interlacing issues some actually flashed to almost a blank screen and back repeatedly. I may be wrong but I think it was something else than a problem with the interlacing on those games.

I assume by "Secret of Mana" you meant "Legend of Mana" ? That is just the game I wanted somebody to test...

Let's wait for the beta2. Maybe it will fix some of the line problems.

    "line problems"?
Maybe you are referring to the Interlacing?

Try to set interlacing to 0 and see if its fixed...

maybe by line problems he was referring to the distortion that the interlacing caused. zodtt said he was going to get that fixed with that HW scaler hack vimacs proposed.

I know I may be greedy when beta2 will be public rsn, but will anyone be able to test out Gran Turismo 2 and Gradius Gaiden?

The current release (0.36) plays Gradius Gaiden slow like a slug... I wish I could see it plays 15fps...

Awesome, Winning Eleven looks great. Sports games are one of the psx's key edge over past systems, hopefully someday we can enjoy games like winning eleven, nfl blitz, madden, and more at playable speed on the go!

Thanks to those who tested out Legend of Mana for me as well, looks great!
