....well, my finger was hovering over the perma-ban button for quite sometime and it was only a matter of time before he slipped.
If this were a democracy, which it isn't, I wouldn't vote for you next term because of
this statement. That's all it took to change my mind about you.
You're a great guy usually, but that statement said a lot about you as a leader; as an authority figure for this community. It seems you're letting the power go to your head. Perma-banning should be something you're sad about, or at least indifferent... but you should definitely not
take pleasure in disciplining members of the community. This was entrapment. I'd bet my lunch money you were in with Craig on this-- Craig would provoke him to get a response, and you'd be right there with the banhammer.
I promise, I'm not just trolling. I have a legitimate concern here; I wonder, is your finger hovering over anyone else's button?
I think perma-bans should require a two-thirds majority vote by the next day's active users... like the voting system in some first-person shooters for kicking people off the server. I've never had any problems with you, Sony, not until this.... and it's not necessarily a problem with you; it's nothing personal and you're only human. I just think moderators should not have that much power... to protect the community from rogue moderation like that.
