PGS Windows 10 gaming handheld - GPD WIN competitor

Dear backers, we'd like you to understand one thing, in case someone haven't known yet.
The Kickstarter prototype is not necessary to be based on a custom PCB. Currently it would be really stupid to spend time and other resources for designing the custom PCB in order to just create one prototype for Kickstarter, which is later to be redesigned in any way (since new features may be added). The final PCB design will correspond to the final set of features/specs.
Apparently, building a prototype to fund the project is a stupid idea.

It's all spoken like people who have never had the slightest acquaintance with the development process of a complex piece of electronics.

They shouldn't be going to Kickstarter with a very variable design to begin with. How can they promise a very aggressive schedule and very aggressive price with the design being so much in flux? Those are the things they should be worried about, not having to respin the PCB.

Well, Kickstarter allows funding a development for a prototype, so they could've done that. But then you can't use the final units as reward.

They probably didn't do this as it would be A LOT harder getting cash for that.

Its clearly a trainwreck at this point- I'm assuming as others have said kickstarter will shut this campaign down close to the end. It would be in its best interests to shut it down as leaving it run would only tarnish kickstarters reputation as a viable and secure place for backers to place their money. Closing it down is good for their long term business, probably.

so... they lied
Nah, they just use their own definitions of key words instead of those that everyone else uses. If you check the legend on their homemade map it is all honest and perfectly sensible.

They may not care, as long as they get their cut. This is small compared to some of the other things that have been done on KS, and there is always the chance that even those that do everything exactly by the book are going to take the money and run (or screw up on something, and watch as the funds evaporate). It is just as likely that this could be the campaign that shows that KS is truly there to help the little guy make his dreams come true. While many of us think it will be impossible for them to deliver, maybe this team/guy really does have the connections and ability to make it happen (and throw in the color e-ink screen they already announced as an option).

Maybe they do, but if so it won't be on time or on budget, then they'll be scrambling to find a way to make up their losses... and may well fold, possibly before completing delivery... oh wait... why does this sound familiar?

Yeah, like how in Nadir's bio it says he developed wireless technologies as a senior engineer working for DagGAU. While in his LinkedIn DagGAU is listed as the university he went to.

For most people "working as a senior engineer" means you've earned a senior title after years of established employment as an engineer. For Nadir I guess it means studying engineering during your senior year.

Then again, his profile says he studied Informatics, not engineering. And he's the only person on LinkedIn who lists this university. Near as I can tell it could be a spelling for Dagestan Agricultural University.. better known as Dagestan Agricultural Academy.. better known as DGSHA, another place Nadir says he worked. But that all seems like quite a stretch.

But his education is at least distinguished - on his Xing profile (another LinkedIn like site) he says "According to the test results, I'm the best student of the University." (later test results showed he's also the only student of the University)

Maybe they wan't to do something good for the world. Perhaps they actually want to give these things away, but their investor will only allow them to lose so much money on this. I have nothing for the time thing, though. Maybe the PGS is also a time machine.

Maybe he took some wireless networking classes during his senior year, and helped work on the school's network. As for everything else, someone had to found all universities/schools, and therefore they also had to have a first student. ;)

Please don't mistake anything I said in this post as sincere or serious.

Oh man, I can't believe their latest defensive tactic. People in the comments started accusing them of not getting any work done so they responded.. by listing the hundreds of tech journalists they e-mailed to promote their campaign.

Only demonstrating that:

1) Like true marketing types they care a lot more publicity than accomplishing anything and
2) That the vast majority of the media, who are normally not at all shy about reporting on fluff, is as skeptical of this device as we are

I could see promotion being the number one priority if they hadn't already cleared their funding goal with a huge safety margin. But they did so that shouldn't even be worth a small amount of their energy. Especially since - according to them - their alleged investors will take of everything once their campaign is successful.

I guess this is just doing their daily work of saying something to try to inspire backer confidence that instead backfires because it reveals more of how badly they're handling everything.

Well as I posted earlier . This is from when Nadir got some kind of grant to study OS

"The second future student foreign university - Nadir Mursalov. He is a student of several faculties and DGSKHA MSTU. His specialty and type of activity - IT-technology. Two years ago, Nader founded media studio called "3Media". Now it is growing, the waste structure with several dozen specialists. The studio has been programming and the creation of animated commercials, including social orientation. Nadir has to be not only a good specialist, but also properly manage the team, all the while doing their studies.

He graduated from a number of online courses in IT in several directions. Well, actually, three-month course in Moscow at the Bauman Technical University. It has several victories in the IT-tenders and competitions at the regional level, I have received the Autodesk certified, most of 3D packages.Nader is the only inhabitant of the country, managed to obtain certification by correctly answering all questions in 1000, 200 in the discipline.

Literally in the first year, while first-year student DGSKHA, I made several proposals on the modernization of the IT Academy and was appointed director of the Center for Innovative Technology. Finding support and approval of the Rector, just six months personally created and implemented the project, gave the Academy a wireless LAN and WiFi Internet bilinguemuyu area within a radius of three kilometers from the Academy itself. Another project planned to start - is to create a multi-level, independent system of computer courses, including advanced levels of PC ownership and application programs. Also in its development - the three-dimensional anatomical, veterinary atlas, which is, in fact, technological training tool. In addition, even Nadir is also a teacher in the high school."

Edit: I have removed the Linked in material, as we have now identified that it was false. ie Nadir doesn't have accounts with different names

So someone mentioned that those alt accounts may in fact just be people Nadir is associated with on Linkedin. ie not different accounts of his with different names.

Just wanted to make that correction , looks like it could have been a false alert.

So yes, it does look like they were accounts of other people Nadir is connected with. ie these are not accounts of Nadirs under different names

Apologise for the false flag
