Ok, but the bottleneck was not the CPU, but the GPU... But again, this may have changed, so I'll give it a go later.

Maybe it's some typo, but it seems they've only release version 4.0 for Windows. The Andorid and Linux releases, judging by the urls given, seem to be the same old 3.0.

Hey for some reason I only get a black screen with mupen now no matter what rom plugin I use. I can hear audio but no video.

Which SGX driver version are you using?

    That was the problem.

I mean I assumed the default? I used the SGX driver istaller to install 4.00.00.01 and now it works.

    Thank you!

Hmm that is really odd, never had problems with the SGX installer on any of my Pandora(s)... For this version I suspect it may need the latest SGX version like some of ptitseb's other ports.

Sorry Trashy I edited my last post. That was totally the problem.

Not sure what I did but now I can't get any of the gaming controls to work once the ROM is loaded. I haven't messed with any configs.

    So weird.

I do hope Mupen64 can be made to use these texture packs and ideally do some widescreen hacks when it gets ported to our pyras.

I'm not so keen on the way that widescreen effect changes the buttons at the top. It seems to be scaling the texture up to span the entire widescreen, which also makes it taller, so that it takes up much more of the playable screen that way. I'd prefer if it had a way to define a split in it so it didn't need to scale it as far, but I guess that'd have to be another step to apply.

I just realized that the butter smooth video setting I was using doesn't have shadows in sm64 :(

That looks really good, I wonder whether my 10 year old system is fast enough for it though, I'd have higher hopes for it to work in Mupen.
Is there also a mod that replaces the music with the recordings of the live concertos? That would be great!

Hi guys, So I used to play Perfect Dark and I could see when using the Binoculars or Spy Camera but now it just produces a black screen when trying to use the spycam\binocs etc. I'm sure its not the plugins or video drivers. But maybe a script setting or a problem with the later versions of Mupen or maybe even the newer firmware? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Yeah it's a quirk with one of the video plugins, I remember one of them had that bug on some games... sorry I can't be specific as I don't have time to try and figure out which one.
