Not at all.Bad mood today?
But why would you want to? If you're that set on eating the Pyra in effigy, you should have a baker make you a Pyra shaped cake. ;-)I can eat an image of it!
Yes, it was fully inserted. We had to change the SD card slots shortly before we produced the PCBs as the old ones were out of production and didn't see that the news ones were a bit different physically.Nice video, please keep tweaking Pyra till it be the best it can be.
@EvilDragon Is the SD card fully inserted? If yes, was it intentional to make it stand out like that? Do you take it out by pushing it?
ED bought a little more than 10.000 of them before the end of production, so it's enough for 5.000 Pyras. After that, smaller nubs have to be used, which already have solder spots on the PCB. But even those are clickable.Nice to see a first prototype of the Pyra ! Thank you for the video.
I've one question that bothers me : What's the situation of the clickable Nubs, are there only enough for the first units or do you got a new source for them ?
Good to know.Yes, it was fully inserted. We had to change the SD card slots shortly before we produced the PCBs as the old ones were out of production and didn't see that the news ones were a bit different physically.
That will be changed with the final boards, we'll simply move them back a bit.
the plastic molds which cost 10's of thousands of Euros are already made, changing them now would be costly. Is it still possible to make the edges thiner like on the Original Nintendo DS (Which is also thicker and wider than the Pandora but still fits into my front pocket nicely BTW)?
Blender. So we can all have a good laugh watching you choke on it?

That could work indeed...
Depends on how you do it. If there is some space left at the insides, the rounding could be more to that side. I see some mm space, not much but could be used (the battery limits that space of course). But rounding the edges could make the Pyra even thicker (as adding material is easier than removing), so I'm not sure if thats a good idea.

Like that, just a little bit, but can make a difference:
