Here is HakuNeko, a Mangas Downloader.

It's based on wxWidget and download Mangas as a buch of JPG in Folders.

History log:

  • Update to latest sources (1.4.2)
  • Update to wxWidget 3.0.3
Build 05
----------

  • Update to wxWidget 3.0.2
  • Fixed error message (with new build of wxWidget)
Build 04
----------

  • Update to latest sources
Build 03
----------

  • Update to latest sources
  • Using wxWidget 3.0
Build 02
----------

  • Repackage to include a missing screenshot
Build 01

As ekianjo pointed out, this application is best paired with Comix to read the downloaded Mangas.

Note that it works on Fat32 SDCard, but you may have some error/warning about right (I think I have removed all of them, but I may have missed a few).

very cool!

I read a lot of Mangas online. This might be really helpful. Gonna try it once I have WLAN again.

ThankzZ

Thanks folks - I downloaded the Win32 version, and now have a complete set of Guyver :)

Gonna go have a snoop around for more!

D.

Hi there I have often problems with the directorys, so I wanted to ask if you might wanna update the pnd to the latest version? :D Maybe that would help :D

I agree with Dunny, I have to scroll a few times to see the entire tentacle..

Hi ptitSeb, I know that you are a busy man.. porting all those great things, but could you update HakuNeko when you find the time. It may not be necessary, but there is always a pop up that there is a newer version :D

Ok, I'll take a look at it soon.

Ok, it's updated. I have done virtually no test, but it seems I have an error message to some permission settings that fail (I'm on Fat32). I may look at that later.

Build 04

----------

  • Update to latest sources

Hi ptitSeb thanks a lot, yes there is an error but I am using etx2 because of special characters... It works, but i will send you what is written in that error, right now I can´t look.

Ok, I should have fixed the error message. It's always the same issue with wxWidget, so I upgraded and hacked it (same hack from 2012, see the codeblocks thread for more info).

Build 05

----------

  • Update to wxWidget 3.0.2
  • Fixed error message (with new build of wxWidget)

Has HakuNeko stopped working for anyone else?

Return code is : 2

Reads like it ran out of memory when trying to instantiate a class. Check your 'top'; has something eaten your ram? As is usual in software testing, if in doubt, reboot and try again from fresh.

Nothing else eating ram. It gets to about 40% usage then crashes.
[doublepost=1517165886,1517165319][/doublepost]I think it is a memory leak. Adding a 1GB swap file allows it to run longer, but it starts eating swap after 80% usage and then crashes again eventually.
