GPD Pocket BIOS 0807

Description: This latest BIOS changes the boot logic. The original BIOS logic is that the device can not boot unless it is charged up to 10 ~ 17 percent. Now even the power is lower than 10%, if you want to boot it, you can just charge it.
Not sure if I'm getting confused, are you saying the one I've installed has better performance than the Ubuntu one, but you've kept the Ubuntu version?Yeah, I had that one on and the performance difference was like night and day. If they release an unlocked BIOS with the new charging behaviours, I'll be at it like a rat up a drainpipe.
The unlocked one has better performance - by a large margin. You can clock the RAM to proper speed (1066MHz iirc), adjust the throttling temperatures etc.

However, there is a bug in the charging that means that the pocket can discharge the entire battery while still plugged into the AC.
Cool. I found ublock origin can block zxdunny's avatar
The Vivaldi browser has an option to only play image animations only once. That helps a lot if you are sensitive to these kinds of things.Cool. I found ublock origin can block zxdunny's avatar
Congratulations! You must be so proud.
One thing my Pocket has started doing, is even connected to AC the low power orange LED on the power button has started glowing, but bizarrely the battery is charging and even when I disconnected the charger, it said 75%, but the LED still glowed. Do you know if yours was actually discharging, or you just saw the glowing LED?However, there is a bug in the charging that means that the pocket can discharge the entire battery while still plugged into the AC
Can you do me a favour and put that "See here" and media tag inside spoiler tags. The way the board loads them makes things a little confusing. It doesn't really matter, this'll be on a new page soon, but it'd be nice.See here:
The gpd pocket is quite a popular device i wanted to use it for retro gaming.
I think PowerGod was wondering why you've picked the GPDPocket for your device of choice, when a Raspberry Pi is a 10th of the price, and runs exactly the same (or close enough). Or if you're still thinking a handheld, why not a GPDWin - which actually has gaming controls
