I was more irked by how everybody here are quick to scramble and desperately try to defend them like this is acceptable business practices.
Quote me a single person who said this was acceptable and I will point you to pages upon pages of posts that detail exactly why it is entirely unacceptable in every possible way. You only think people are defending it because you have refused to listen to reason and understand the explanations given to you.
Whoever "they" is I don't care, save that crap for a judge or something. I'm merely a customer, why are you trying to hard to prove your case to me?
So someone screwed you over and you don't actually care who "they" are that did so? You just want to go on what appears to be the correct place and yell at everyone, not listening when people try to calmly explain what the situation is and why you're getting mad at the wrong people?Would you also walk into a Ford dealership and tell them what shitty service they have because your Honda broke down? They both sell cars, you don't care who "they" are that sold you a lemon, you just demand that it be fixed.
I didn't come here for excuses, I came here for solutions.
No one has given excuses, we've given you information, facts so that you can understand the situation and make an informed decision about your options. You've chosen time and again to ignore that information.Your options are this: accept that OpenPandora LTD, Craig's company, the company you bought from, is bankrupt and your money is gone. Contact a lawyer, force them into liquidation, and maybe there might be something left to refund you, but it is very important in such a case that you know exactly who "they" are, or realize that that is too much of a hassle and drown your sorrows in alcohol. Understand that a completely different company exists that is also selling Pandoras with some success, and that you be careful not to confuse the two. This second company, run by EvilDragon, which you may not have even heard of, has taken pity on Craig's customers and is offering to sell a brand new 1Ghz Pandora at a discounted rate, below manufacturing cost, with the difference made up in his own profits and community donations. Yes, this means putting more money forward, but you were not his customer: he doesn't have to do this, it is generosity. Ignoring EvilDragon from this entirely, the situation is that you ordered from a company and that company went bankrupt: you have no options, your money is gone. Accepting that EvilDragon and Craigix are two different entities, you are given the option of upgrading.
If you want to move forward, accept the offer of a discount from EvilDragon's store, go to his
contact us page, select the Sales Team, and send them a request. I believe the current upgrade amount is 300EUR, for that you would get a brand new 1Ghz Pandora with twice as much RAM as the original in a stronger silver case which is currently retailing for 420EUR.
