Ah, public is informed now, too.

My new SD isn't here yet and after holidays I have to work for University and learn for exams.

Don't know when I will be able to test it.

It's a great application, even if I can't test it for now.

Tested in real situation again. Works great.

I did some corrections, and changed some stuff in the build system to allow SOLEIL to be installed in SL4P.

No one tried ? :/

As one 128 GB SD arrived I have one 32 GB card free.

I have to get e crossover cable and then I can test it.

In January are already exams at my University so I don't knof if I find time to do so.

It can work with a straight one, depending of your adapter and/or PC.

Flawlessly. In this case i think a normal cable will be ok.

You can even boot multiple computers.

Lovely!

This sounds like a dream for me - seriously, I dreamed a lot of time with having a handled device which I can connect to other computers and use it all the time --

I want to try it out, but I don't have any usb-to-Ethernet adaptor. In order to get one which works, would you mind to give me an advice of which one to buy?

Well, can't really recommand one looking like this

because it consumes more current than the Wii one.

I'll soon have brand new from Japan. Will report them here.

Thanks for the info,

I think one with more wire at the usb part is better.

Is that one yours?

Yes, you can't use this one on the Pandora without a cable.

I have three adapters.

The third is this one

And it's a piece of crap.

Something like this belongs in EDs shop.

RJ45 for Pandora? Great pair!

I will test the Japan ones soon, maybe tomorrow, but seeing the new trendnet, maybe it's a better choice.

Working a bit on the "SL4P converter".

I'll see how things goes this way, but i think i'll have to provide a separate image anyway. Some stuff on the exported NFS rootfs have to be done on a x86. I can provide sub-images for these parts, but it's duplicating even more work.

I'm also setting a proper way to enable/disable SOLEIL functionality, reverting to SL4P whenever SOLEIL is unneeded.
