That famitsu one is hot as hell, dcgm. How much again?
haha dont remind me :(

It was originally up with a BIN for $169.99, and there was the best offer option as well. I figured I was pretty broke as is, since I was on the verge of winning the other astro boy model, so I made an offer at $108.00.....but then I did some research and saw how rare it was, so I went back and found out that 2 other ebay members were making offers ALREADY! And it had only been up for sale for around 2 hours!

Couldnt pass it up, so i used the BIN knowing pretty well that those other 2 offers were most likely higher than my measly $108.

That's what I wonder, if you collect them, do you open them, use them, and enjoy them? Or do you just enjoy them as a hunk of plastic neatly packaged? :)

well, im sure I speak for nearly all collectors when I say that the enjoyment lies in the fact that you have something on display. Do I "get enjoyment" from them? well. How much enjoyment can one get from a game boy light nowadays? lol, probably not.

Action figures? well, if you're a hardkor action figure collector, then odds are you arent really 12 anymore. So I would assume they arent removed to be played with

Now cars would be another story....I think you catch my drift :)

Have I personally removed them? well, the boxes arent SEALED per se, so yes, I have taken them out to test them, take pics etc. If they were sealed, then no, I would leave them that way.

The Famitsu model (if you notice) hasnt been removed to take a pic. That one is sealed in the case, so i'm leaving it.

Hope that helps :)

That`s quite an impressive collection you got now. So, what`s next? Got anything in mind?

thanks :)

I probably need about a month to recoup from the damage i've done on the credit card this month, but after than Im looking into a microvision, some kind of special edition wonderswan crystal, and possibly that elusive Zelda game boy SP.

But of course ill keep an eye open for more SE GB lights :p
