SuperTuxKart is a slideshow due to Irrlicht being kinda picky about video drivers and Extreme Tux Racer needs to be rewritten for OpenGL ES, which doesn't look like a trivial task.
Porting them from OpenGL to OpenGLES. The more complex the graphical effects (not necessarily the detail of models or environments; mainly things such as lighting, shaders, etc.), the more difficult that will be.
Mmmm... something tells me it won't have that issue.

SuperTux 2 was a great success - it was so playable that my 10 year old boys, then I, completed the whole packaged level set and then some on my Pandora.
So - does anyone want to try to get SuperTux Kart working? Has anyone already tried?
It uses the irrlicht engine, which was built by sebt3 and produced only unplayable slow results. Then cloudef tweaked it a bit and it ran better but crashed before you can enter a race.
So somebody needs to get the engine running properly first.
