Steam Deck (using SteamOS) handheld by Valve

Gamehub use GPL licensed software without publishing back the modified sources. They also use FEX and Box64, with custom changes, without commit upstream. They used free software for their own benefit without any contribution back to the original software. When you use those kind of software, when you advertise them, you say a big FU to the entire opensource community.

It wasnt meant to be an FU to the Opensource and GPL Community,
Gamehub is an Payed App, but Gamehub Lite dont take Money..

That they use your Work whitouth Asking is a quite seriouse Abuse of the Opensource Paramethers, and absolutly not to tolerate . .. ,

Ok i use Gamehub Lite, its quite cool to be able to play Farming Simulator 22 on this DS Like Device ..

The "lite" version is a hack because people are suspicious of closed source stuffs inside gamehub. It doesn't send back to upstream any patch used in gamehub version of the opesource software used. Lite or non-lite changes nothing to my point.

The Steamframe will use FEX. Valve seems to have funded FEX for 7 years, it would be very surprising to switch emulation engine at the last moment.

Ok i will not show Gamehub Lite anymore then in my Videos, next is maybe the full Mario Kart Series quite good playable on one Device (expect World, 8 Deluxe, and the japanese Arcade Mario Kart Games)

I think this afternoon i try to figure out what happens to my Steamdeck Wifi..

I looking forward for the VR Headset actually, as i never experienced VR Gaming bevor, i know i have at least one Game in my Steam Library whit an VR Mode which is Derail Valley, so driving Trains in VR would be awesome ^^,

The Apple Vision Pro was much to expensive, but maybe the Steamframe can als show Youtube Videos, at least on an big Screen in VR ..

I would not be able to buy the Steamframe this year, or the Steam Machine due to financial changes, but maybe next year ..

I have multiple VR headsets and I think it's a great experience, but... you need space to play. And you can become motion sick and you have to wear a battery operated device on you head (or with a cable).
So, while I think Half-Life Alyx is a great experience, I don't play often in VR because other games are, or feel, easier to pick-up.

If I would rate gaming experiences I think VR ones are the best, right at the top. But having to wear something on your head, usually with some restrictions (like battery-life, cable length, pressure from weight on your face, condensation on the screen if it's too warm, etc), which can cause you to not pick it up compared to a regular PC game, or game on your phone. You can play a game on your phone while sitting on a bus for example, so chances are higher that there are a few minutes of time waiting while you have your phone available. And with your PC that might be the same if you are home a lot. But with a VR headset, it's probably also at home next to your gaming PC (as you usually had to have a powerful PC to run VR games).
I only use stand-alone headset these days, so I don't have wires to restrict my play, and they're mobile so I can bring them with me to a convenient playing location.
The Steam VR headset will also allow you to play Steam library games, which opens up even more games to play on the go. So, still looking forward to it.

If you haven't played VR, I surely recommend it. Most people that I show VR to they'll like it, but some of them get motion sick really easily. And if I get motion sick in a game it's a really good reason to not play that specific game anymore (it's not worth being sick :p ).

A Steamdeck allows you to play games on the go with a bit less hassle, so I like that to. If the new VR headset is small, portable and has good battery life (~3 to 4h) it would be great. Even if you don't play 3D, just use it as a portable gaming screen, to play while you sit down.
