I'd say at least 10 of us had them on checking them out, and not one of us had a dead pixel. I have taken a VERY close look at mine as well and have found ZERO dust under the screen, though this was a big problem with my Japanese ones. Again good luck to anyone who get's one with dead pixels who thinks their gonna try to exhange it right then and there.

You guys are lucky. I got mine from best buy. I knew of the problems so I tested the unit right then and there after I bought it. And there they were, at least 5 dead pixels. So I told them right then and there that it was bad and got another unit. This one had one dead pixel and some dust in the screen. I asked for another one to try and that one had gouges on the screen cover, 2 dead pixels and a piece of fuzz on the inside. By then I was cut off, there would be no more trying any more out. It was either take one of those or get a refund. I ended up with the second one with the dust and one dead pixel. You can't really see the dust unless you look at it under the light. With the game running and in a semi dark room it kind of dissapears. I also could have sworn that the dead pixel healed itself for awhile and then came back, or I may be nuts.
Anyway you guys are lucky, maybe I got one from an old bad batch or something.
